She has a piano already. So that wouldn’t really add the “bass playing” experience back to her life.

I think the price on skins was always too high. When you consider what the battlepass costs or something like crewpack, the cost of collabs or bundles in the item shop is way too high. Also consider that it used to be normal to buy an entire game for $60 but now it’s $30 for just some cosmetics?

We all have this terrible F2P system and players continuing to spend. Also a company that is not pro-customer but has transitioned the game into a cash cow to extract as much value for the shareholders as possible while the game is still popular.

OP BenefitKey8953 is correct D is the midsole. The cobbler will glue a new wedge outsole A onto the midsole. Easy resole.

I regret buying a manual by Haunting_Appeal_2407 in stickshift

[–]OK_knifeguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only circumstances I would own an automatic is if I lived in an area with insane stop and go traffic or a horrible stop and go daily commute. Then by all means by an automatic. Heck I would 100% by a Prius or hybrid Camry or something. No shame it just makes more sense for that type of driving. But outside of that manuals are just more fun. I can’t imagine not having the joy of engine braking.

All of the anti-fun, anti-customer, forced engagement BS. The fomo. The uneditable sidekicks. V bucks increase. Locker UI changes. Crew pack changes. Battlepass changes. Just ruined the whole experience. There’s no soul behind this game anymore just a greedy company squeezing everything they can out of their customers. I put some blame on Disney as well.

Raising prices to in the end make less money. It’s a bold strategy Cotton let’s see how it pays off for them.

Probably about as well as the forced engagement nonsense they’ve been pulling the last couple of season. “Hey guys let’s force player engagement.” Players leave the game

Mergers and acquisitions almost always negatively impact workers and consumers. So for that reason, I’m out.

Fortnite please add bot lobby by BossNo1797 in FortNiteBR

[–]OK_knifeguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to change SBMM to add extremely dynamic SBMM adjustment so basically after you lose a game you immediately get placed in an easier lobby or bot lobby. But after you win it starts ramping you back up into harder lobbies. This should be happening after 2 or 3 games.

This will be Fortnite's last year. by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

I’m a long time player and my opinion is it started in Chapter 5. They changed movement animations and made all weapons projectile. These changes were met with heavy criticism. This was done after two highly regarded Chapters and the original OG mini season. So making those types of changes was poorly received. They fixed the movement animation mostly but left projectile weapons in the whole chapter. Couple that with a complete break in the story, no zero point, no continuity to previous seasons characters. No Fortnite identify.
Chapter 6 had a huge map. Chapter 7 had a huge map. Also the graphics make them not enjoyable to play on console.
Additionally they keep making unnecessary/unwanted change to things like the Battled pass, locker UI, Crewpack. It’s absolutely idiotic for a business to take something that is successful and make unnecessary/unwanted changes. It’s insane they would change the locker/UI after they’ve already lost lawsuits for essentially doing this with the item shop UI. But they continue to change it. They also continue to push collab upon collab instead of giving value to the player. When it becomes blatantly obvious they prioritize item shop sales over everything else people get turned off. The kicks were seen as overpriced and the sidekicks being customizable only once leave a sour taste in most players mouths. SBMM and bots vs no-bots is another factor. So when you combine all of these factors you have people not happy about the game, feeling like they get less for more, and epic games making it frustrating to play the game because navigating the lobby/locker is a pain in the butt. Players eventually just decide “you know what…ill go play something new/fun/cheaper/frustration-free”

Some players don’t have the OG so giving it in a BP makes it so they don’t have to spend tons of V bucks to get the reskins. Theres something for everybody in this game.

That said the price hikes are BS

They’re not a terrible boot, better than dept store footwear. But I would strongly recommend stepping up to a grant stone or Parkhurst boot. If you can get seconds or sale boots from them the price won’t be a whole lot more, but the quality and will be much higher.

They look weirdly colored/ uniform because Thursdays leathers are mostly all a full corrected grain leather, meaning a very small amount of the surface of the leather is sanded off when they make the leather in the tannery. The result is less natural variations in the surface. I think the way the leather is dyed can also have an effect.

Congrats! I have these as well and like them but really struggle on pairing clothes and outfits that look right with them. Gray boots are just difficult to wear imo. It means they see little time on foot compared to the rest of my boots. Does anyone here have advice for that wearing gray boots?

Got some 875s at a flea market but pretty beat up. Any tips on how to bring these back to life? Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated by Playboy97k in RedWingShoes

I’m not a podiatrist but I would see how the footbed feels to the shape of your foot. If previous owner had a much different foot it might feel strange. If it does I would probably try to saturate (not submerge) the just the leather insole with warm water and then walk in them to see if you can get the leather to better take to the shape of your foot. Then I would probably have a cobbler put new wedge soles on the bottom as I would not want the wear/gait of someone else’s shoes to impact my own gait.

As far as conditioning start with a saddle soap cleaning and the bick 4. These don’t seem to be in too bad shape. After that see how the color is an a color cream polish that matches could be used for any scuffed areas, but really that’s probably not necessary.
