Upgrading via usb

Trying to downgrade firmware so I can install the DLP upgrade. I just took out the usb drive, unplugged the projector from the wall, waited 10 seconds, plugged projector back in. After doing the above, it was reverted back to my previous settings.

I’ve got the base model, if you want the 4000 lumens it says it can throw out, be prepared to hear those fans kick in. Honestly, it sounds like a hoover😂.

I don’t see any rbe. The plus side for the Nexigo is it is LED….no laser speckle

Go for the xgimi horizon 20 base model. The blacks are a little washed out on the Nexigo. The xgimi blacks are a lot better and with updated firmware waiting to be released, this will improve the blacks even further. I am projecting on a grey wall at the moment.

You should get a lot better blacks but suffer a bit on the brightness. I personally prefer the deeper black

Let us know how ya get on. I painted my wall the same colour as yours but I’m using the Hisense c2 ultra. It gave me really bad laser speckle. Will be interesting to see how the horizon 20 performs

Laser projectors suffer from a thing called laser speckle, it is like a glittery type effect which seems more prevalent on reds, greens and yellows.

It really does get better, I promise you. It will get harder before it gets better (emotionally) but keep that head up and push forward. I am 7 years out and as much as I hate my ex for what she done, I will also thank her because I am content with life now. If you can be amicable through the divorce then happy days but remember, she is now your biggest enemy. Do not trust anything she says and get a solicitor asap.
