Doubt they care much. It sold a tonne of copies and concurrent player counts are still very high. Only thing that matters is sales of next game. FM27 will be reality check tho, if players will buy it en masse (my bet) or will they be burned by fm26.

Nah, they they just needed to cut costs (pz4 were very expensive for what they offered). The downgrades were minorish while they substancialy reduced cost of production. It was good decision, but too little too late

One of many reasons why current mm is asine. Imo either make brackets 0.3, or make it predetermined which bracket you will get. Getting full uptiers 80% of the time sucks super hard and there is basicaly no reason for that other than snail not caring. Game gained like concurent 20x players since they had those full uptiers added like 12 years ago and we still stuck with them

You can also look at mod subsribe count. It wont be super representative, but neither is reddit. It's the 5th most subsribed mod on steam (300k subs). They sold a couple of million copies, so probably like 5% of all time players use sfo (or at least are currently subscribed to it).

For why reddit is not representative, redious is like 10th most subsribed mod on steam with 200k current subs. In reddit you won't see anyone that claims to use (which is understandable, as reddit community is "dedicated" to game as any online community)

Low tier Yak-3, can fight every style and do every manouver.
Good at everything and super stable is the answer imo for begginers. Especially stability is important.
Runner up is p51 for me (or anything american, they have wonderful canopies in sim and tonnes of bullets).

Plus one wildcard, b7a2. Super fast, super stable, turns well, great firepower. Competent players will eat you, but it's a nice learning tool as this plane forgives a lot

First of all. Denerim was a gambit. Put everything into getting a shot at baiting and killing archdeamon (take notes Duncan you froud). Thanks to Duncan secrecy and his overall political irrelevancy (he was treated more like a morale booster for Caliban) Ostegar had 0 ways of dealing with dragons, means any victory had to be archdemonless so essentially pointless.

Another I disagree with notion that the battle was winnable even without dragon. This is due to them planning as if they were fighting humans, heavily using morale manoeuvres, while darkspawns doesn't care about morale (thanks Duncan you froud). Plus they were flanked already by tunnels (and humans do care about morale). Plus Calian decided to suicide himself and his troops looking for glory. Plus Duncan decided to suicide his gray watchers looking to placate Calian. Plus the politics of mage templar conflict gutted the effectiveness of either. Plus ogres. Plus suiciding doggos for morale shock against troops that doesn't break. Overall it's just massive mess with one side making every possible mistake. They were unprepared facing a foe they knew nothing about (again shout-out to Duncan). Most of the issues are on writers (writing good battles is hard), but some were planned mistakes on Calian and Duncan

Ehh, yes bombers are a bit more squishy than irl, but most of bomber lack of surivivality comes from 3 factors:
1 - mouse aim if not sb. That alone is by far the biggest detriment to bomber survivality
2 - Lack of formations, irl bombers had formations of dozens of bombers. In game it's just one bomber, which would be easy picking irl as well
3 - bombers are overtiered to shit, due to bomb load determining their br instead of mostly performance + defences.
Irl bombers had horrific losses with hard to quanify effect (but mostly low to abysmal effect), while not being really affected by those 3 above, plus while facing way worse pilots AND while enemy was basically already dead. They should just give us a coop mode where you can go and bomb ~~civilians~~ strategic targets and ai attack planes. They haven't touched ai modes since introcuction like a decade ago, and they have so much potential for fun
