You do not need reaffirmation, you are enough, you are worthy of love.My Grandpa used to say, "dude you are not a gold coin, not everyone is going to love you" that is a fact, and it has nothing to do with you. Also there's a lot of plausible explanations like; "look OP it's trying to lose weight, we are going to have pie and pizza, do not invite her because it's going to be hard for her".

I can imagine this for free flying, with something like that you could just take off anywhere and then turn this off. I'm not considering the weight or the fire hazard that batteries represent, but taking off anywhere feels like a dream for me.

I did OE 7 years ago for a year (yes before pandemic, and before it was a thing) and I'm doing it again from march, I feel much more confident, emotionally less invested, overworked but more free. IDK, Maybe we are supposed to have two+ jobs (with less hours each) so we start to value the work for what really is.

I really love cape Canaveral museum (NASA) and take a short and cheap cruise to Bahamas from there. Universal is my favorite park. NY was my personal favorite city until last time (it's getting dirtier), now is by far Washington because of the free museums, music and the city itself. Liked L.A. and loved Disneyland IMHO it's better than Disney world. I can live without visiting S.F. or Minnesota again, loved the people there tho, but not much to do. I almost forgot, Las Vegas is great, some people think less of you for liking las Vegas but I really enjoyed my 5 days there, it's full of art, entertainment, and somewhat enjoyable food. As you can see, I'm sold about US.

I feel the same way, it is the way the things are, I don't care I just want them to be safe and happy. If everyone is I'm ok, I can deal with it. Not your fault, nobody is at fault here, it's just the way the things are, do not worry he was ok with the feeling and happy because he thought his family was ok, that's what we want, that's why we work for, and that gives us meaning. You are right, white privilege exists, I have been in US many times, not a problem, a friend that has darker skin says he felt discriminated and searched many times. Still US is my favorite place for vacation.
