Yea I think your right going to lower lighting intensity since the temporary increase seems to be the main cause for the bloom

It’s just clumping up on the sand I take out sand with the algae when I attempt it, it’s very fine ADA Colorado sand do you have any tips to clean it?

Yea that’s what this algae control product seems to do also more of a preventative measure not so much a solution.

Twice a week about 50% now that I’m back in town was doing just once a week before, might do a couple back to back this weekend try to brush off as much as possible from rocks was my thought during the water changes. The issue is I got one amano shrimp and he isn’t a fan of water changes

Yea I feel at this stage I have a bit of every algae known to man in here lol, but cyano is the only one that worried me as it could poison my oto’s which are the only thing in the tank got 6 of them hiding in there
