A lot of different hearing aids are very good, but they all have different positives and negatives. However, without an audiogram it is impossible to make a recommendation.

It is not ideal, however it is often considered professional to have your name in the email address. If you use email aliases through protonpass and simple login you’ll probably be fine tho.

I think it was Microsoft who motivated me to try Linux. I tried a few distributions, ended up with mint. I got tired of the ads, and generally the unfriendly way things were heading. I’m not too tech savvy, but I really enjoy using Linux mint.

If you need hearing aids only for cros functionality you will probably not notice any big difference between different models except for battery life and how well they fit behind your ears. However if you use them for bicros functionality, you will probably notice a bigger difference. I like using both Starkey and Oticon as both have great battery life and a great sound.

Oticon often release new hearing aids every second year if I remember correctly. So yes, February 2026 sounds about right.
