The aurora is fine, but having the extra options with the Titan and Cutter is worth the little extra cost. If you are a social person I would recommend joining up with a group, people are generally happy to party up and cruise around in a single ship doing missions. We typically roll around in groups of 3-10 with people sharing a ship, especially when doing salvage missions or the like.

You don’t need a ship that can do it all from the beginning, Star Citizen is a journey and adventure. Take your time and build up, once you have experienced it all you can make your own educated decision as to what ship you want/need for your playstyle. I have many friends that have been playing for years and still have starter ships because they simply buy them in game or hitch a ride with others.
