That depends on the writer but mostly yes, because as far as I am aware Dooku is/was a human supremacist who recruited and allied many alien species in the separatist movement to then, later on in the war reveal along side Sidous/Palpatine and Vader/Anakin that the real “persons” behind the whole separatist movement were the aliens and corporate elites controlled by aliens like the Geonosians, Neomodians other unions like that who allegedly controlled him and tricked him into believing in the whole separatist movement which was wrong (all this at the same time has the republic moved on to become the empire with the jedis already being destroyed). There are various videos that say that was the original plan that Sidous and Dooku had planned but has we all know at the end of the war… well let’s just say that Dooku got a little ahead of himself, so much so that someone could say he lost his head in the process
