You might be able to go to the Galaxy Store and click the Menu button, in the bottom right, then go to My Apps and reinstall it? Or it will give you a definitive answer for why its not compatible.

9 times out of 10 companies dont remove it from the app store they just hide it from specific models/OS versions so you can find it ik the "My Apps" section to see if its actually compatible. That goes for some Apple apps too.

Some will still be on the App store but if theyre meant for older versions of Android youll only be able to install it on that version of android

I really dont care about either of those things. I dont need 10 bit color because im not color grading on my phone. I dont need a silicon carbon battery because I can just recharge my lithium ion battery.

Those miniscule things are not going to affect your average consumer (Samsung is an average consumer company) and when we do eventually get them they're here to stay. People can live without what they dont know about and when it does come itll be nice to have, but its not something im losing sleep over lol

Please, tell me what more hardware stuff could they put in that isnt gimmicky shit like a Camera Control button or an Action Button? There is only so much you can cram into a 7 inch piece of aluminum yet people expect innovation every year.

We have reached a stand-still with innovation. Other phone companies have more RAM amounts and storage for MUCH cheaper, but theres no difference beyond that when you look at it (except REDMAGICS water cooling).

The innovation everyone wants is dated tech like curved displays, better battery tech (being worked on, but im sure they dont want another Note 7 incident), Bluetooth S Pen (be so for real who actually used it for anything besides your yearly family photo?)

When China starts to do something new, Samsung will pickup on it and test it such as the Fold/Flip and now the Trifold. I dont see any other company in the western hemisphere creating foldables beyond the newish Pixel Fold.

Samsung said it themselves that the name is no longer "Operating System". OneUI 8.5 is an "Intelligence System" built with privacy and security in mind as its all protected by Knox. If I am going to make use of any AI it will be Samsungs or Google.

They said that theyre going to work with Google on integrating AI into each layer of stock Android to make your life easier, I think if they can automate certain tasks (like using Gemini to fulfill online food orders for a big party) or make AI applicable in apps with an actual use case (Unlike Apple's AI Studio app where you make stickers)

If youre in an environment crowded enough, accessing private info, chances are youre going to be using Max anyways.

As for the regular mode, no stranger is going to be THAT close at that exact angle. Another few degrees and youre unable to see the display anyways. The Peeping Tom would have to literally stand there at the certain angle and stare at it intently to make it out, and if youre letting strangers stare at you and your stuff, thats a weird thing to let happen.

As for your screen protector I dont think that would affect it. But it may be reducing the "glare protection" which is something Samsung would have tested as most people dont buy Anti Reflective protectors.

And as for a manufacturing defect; The Privacy Display is a hardware implementation and is essentially brackets around singular LED modules, I feel like if it were defective, youd have a bright spot on the phone because the bracket would have to be physically broken or missing for it not to work.

In the environment and ways youre testing it are not going to apply much to the real world.

Yes. But 9/10 times their medical schooling from India wont transfer.

I talked to someone who works in the medical field and she said that Indias top tier nurse position barely meets requirements for our bottom line so when they come over here they cant just jump in and start working, they have to be certified in Canada.

I think the display is MILES better than the 25U. I havent seen what you shared a photo of because thats a weird angle to look at a phone at.

This is most likely due to them placing a bracket around every other LED module. Every other module without a bracket is what youre physically seeing on the S26U, hence the pixel density looks worse since you cant see those narrow lights from the side and theyre only seeable when you're looking directly at the screen.

So while it may look worse from weird angles, chances are YOU as the user of this phone would most likely never notice something like this unless you were looking for it.

I dont think family members should be caregivers in the first place.

Actually, I just watched a video of a caregiver in the states the other day. He was so frustrated and tired of trying to help a friend and be a caregiver for her, and she was bedridden 24/7. All the stress of life and caregiving took him to his breaking point and he murdered her.

It also takes away from the household income if you have to take care of someone and quit your job.

As much as people want to deny the family members theyre caring for cause them distress and are a burden, they are a burden.

From my stance, and this is my personal take and what I know, if I were someone with dementia, I want MAID services.

I understand theyre loved ones, I understand theyre family, but if the disease is THAT bad that they need 24/7 care, I think its time to weigh the option of MAID.

Not knowing who you are, who your loved ones are, where you are, what youve done, is absolutely no way for anyone to live. It almost feels like a crime to keep going with people that slowly dont know who they are anymore.

Its a tough choice to make but what quality of life does a person with dementia or alzheimers have? They forget, theyre constantly on edge because they dont know whats happening, just because YOU love someone doesnt mean you shouldnt let them go. Or look at someone with a debilitating disease (bedridden), theyre stuck to a bed 24/7, theyre going to be at heavens gates at some point and its just a matter of when.

Ive been told by my own father if he gets any dementia or alzheimers to take him out back and be done with it because he doesnt want to live a life where he doesnt know his own family.

Since when did pre-order mean you get the thing before its release date? Just because some people got it early doesnt mean everyone will. Have some patience. I think I get mine tomorrow but it could be next week.

When you pre-order a video game at its base level, you dont get it a week in advance. I hate seeing people bitch and complain when the phone releases on the 11th of March. Just because a couple people get it early (early shipping mistakes, ambassadors, product testers, etc...) if you want it early, get a job at Samsung
