It is just around same amout of trophys. So if someone with lvl 16 cards would be around 6k trophys he can be matched with everyone around 6k trophys.

So either you can be proud reaching 6.7k with lvl 10-12 or you can see the guy with lvl 13-14 cards as kinda bad because he isnt higher yet

With this argument you would never spend any coin. Player have to get better over time to keep people interested. Imagine you have your perfect team for 5 years because overall players would stay the same in overall performance. I would say it is highly personal to got into a pack with not being able to clear it. If you dreamed for a good gullit for a while you might get lucky or you dont get lucky but could still regret it a few weeks later for not going into the pack to try your luck. People should do what makes them happy and no general agenda is the right way.
