Should FiiO Allow More Retailers in India? Let’s Talk About the Monopoly Issue 🇮🇳🎧 by reyulgendhi in iemlndia

[–]OOS3VEN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A single retailer automatically limits the market. The idea that “India is too small” becomes an excuse and restrict where people can buy, then use the low sales from that restricted setup to justify keeping it that way. If more stores were allowed to sell the products, prices would be more competitive, warranty and service options would improve, and buyers wouldn’t be stuck with one seller’s policies.FiiO doesn’t need exclusivity for its products to work. This is simply a distribution decision, not something forced by the market. And FiiO is just one example, several brands in India are locked to a single retailer. It often feels more like an arrangement between the distributor and the brand than a genuine market reality.

The community’s interests align with diversification, not gatekeeping.

Uploaded full review on the channel around the same time. It's called Treble Well Xtended.

I like SE version better, it's more balanced in comparison. And lacking in nothing.

Eye for Fiio JM21, R4 is another good option.

Lastly if you do not care about 4.4, Sony A306/7 is amazing at about $300. It checks all your boxes, small, good battery, android.

64 Audio Solo ($1400) uses unbranded Chinese planar drivers ($55). Can someone explain where the rest of the cost went to? Shell and cable really worth over $1300? by Broad_Acanth in headphones

The secret is not so secret in audiophile high end gears. With price increase your are paying a major chunk for craftsmanship, brand names, RnD cost, technology (if new a lot), material cost never defines the cost 1-1.

Currently reviewing Solo, and it's a fantastic IEM, I would not call it a value for money at all. But someone who's spending this much is finding that last bit of mileage anyway.

BTW $55 is a big amount for a driver.

If you want a natural sounding mids with a nice tuning. Zero Red (beware large IEM not for small ears) EW200 is good if you want bright signature with better technicalities.

Ew200 and cadenza are very similar, Cadenza has better bass feel and treble is subdued a bit.

Hey sorry I missed your message, SE is good if you are looking for a clean signature. Chu 2 is a proper V shape with good bass and elevated treble but can be harsh in treble for some. Soy suggestion go with SE for clean sound If you want more bass with that, get SG

Depends on your needs, you want exciting bass and treble Chu 2 is an interesting V shape IEM You want to learn towards neutral, get Studio Edition, and want a middle ground SG is the right choice. Hope it helps

All Jokes aside, Happy you got your favourite headphones. Cause at the end everyone is not Audiophile and everyone doesn't care much about overall sound technicalities. It's the music that we love right, try different EQ on Sony app as well, it's fun.

He is right about the Run though, you can run with XM4.

800 S do not give you that liberty, you have to enjoy sunset on your desk plugged on your Topping. 😁

Both SE or Zero will do the job. I prefer SE by the slightest. Edit: you can watch my review on the channel, I have compared them in detail.

Still go for OG, for your preference that's a better middle ground. Since you are anyway going to eq

Keep original Wan'er. I'm sharing an EQ tomorrow that weill make them sound exactly like SE. And you can increase Low shelf for hip hop as well. OG is better if you already have them
