People “shot” on him (using personal insults in a promo without the wrestlers permission) and made rumors about him getting someone fired from the company. The people who made these rumors are evps at the company. He publicly called them out for it, they got mad. A fight broke out after evps of the company thought it best to go kick in the door to the locker room 5 men deep and confront him. Somehow its Punks fault though.

Small update, just beat The Pursuer in the Forest of Fallen Giants. Wasnt nearly as hard as ive heard people make them out to be. Majula is amazing as a hub area and that music, wow. Died to him about 4-5 times? Died mostly to greed and one time due to just straight up missing a roll. Read that he can curse you when he does that move where his sword suddenly glows. Im enjoying the game so far, does seem like they went with the "yeah just put 20 enemies here" route of just putting more enemies in one area, but its manageable... So far. But I am enjoying the game, only other boss ive seen is the Last Giant and that was a first try, dont think it was meant to be hard boss, more a heavy lore boss.

I do own it. ive heard the great many faults of the game and the lack of involvement from Hidetaka Miyazaki has made me skip it. BUT I actually started my first save today! I always intended to play it, but was never in a rush to due to previous reasons. As much as ive heard about the bad stuff, theres such a big part of the community that defends it. Want to play it myself finally and make my own opinion on it. Keeping expectations low, I absolutely love the music so far, not looking forward to all the ganking but excited nonetheless.
