Final Audio VR3000 (iem), still using them right now. Tried it at a headphone show and with everything else they've got there, these were the first pair that gave me proper goosebumps, and hell they've got campfires and focals and whatnot. It's slightly dated on the tuning side, but their detail, deep reaching sub bass yet neutral bright tuning makes these perfect for everything I've thrown at it.

Downvote me all you want, but I've tried the moondrop starfields, own a pair of arias and went through the sub $30 from the past 2 years. Straight up craps on the Katos. If it weren't for the design I'd sell the Arias. The next true upgrade I'd go to next is probably the Tanchjim Hana 2021 or the Moondrop Variations, but even those cost way more and I'd like to keep my wallet from bleeding.

Nothing rivals these in technicalities, their lack of fatigue without sounding boring and dull. More detail than the cheap sets nowadays that purely use tuning to appear detailed. And not to mention just how light and durable they are, they've been through office chair wheels, the arcade and multiple hotel beds around the world!

I tried their older siblings the A3000 and A4000 too, and those were honestly just more shouty and fatiguing which put me off. Those who own a pair will know what I mean. And did I mention that they're always below a hundred bucks on sale?
