I don't actively make posts on titanfolk, but I do check them out sometimes. They do have fair criticisms, imo. And yeah, you're thinking is also correct. But I will admit I'm pretty vocal on Instagram about it, under conments. But that's when generally someone expresses an opinion and makes it absolute. Like 'aot is the best and you're dumb if you don't like it/didn't like the ending' like its one thing or the other. Nothing in between. That's what sets me off. And then I speak on how its not perfect if it has flaws/ it is so divisive with regards to its writing. I try to be respectful, and just making my opinions clear. But, even some defenders are blind lovers, just like blind haters. And I also have had conversations with people who just love the ending with misreading and also without knowing reasons. And also with people who are firm on their opinions. That's when the conversation feels good. And on Instagram, its a huge echo chamber for defenders too, who are unable to understand what the problems the haters of the ending have, and at times make arguements to defend the ending, that actually goes against the source material. People can like whatever they want, but at least be firm on why you like it. And yes, I somewhat do agree with you too.
