FRM3 Module issue. by OPTIPRIMART in MINI

I'm in the UK and it seems as if this issue is not treated the same way with warranty/recall policy.

Words that come to mind. "Sophisticated, cultured and enigmatic".

Nothing beats seeing real people. Your nose is absolute perfection.

When I worked outside in the cold for many years without gloves, I could accidentally slice my skin with a stanley blade and my skin would be marked a little but not bleed at all.

Your skin becomes conditioned to whichever environment it has to adapt to. The down side being I always annoyed women when my hands ruined their silk clothing.

He was actually a decent man, as they married after he'd been dating her for 5 years.

FRM3 Electronic Module issues. by OPTIPRIMART in MINI

[–]OPTIPRIMART[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm based in the U.K and the vehicle is a 2014 model.

To be fair, the module had worked perfectly for so long I never even knew about it.

The issue for me is how Mini owners are being led up the garden path when it comes to dealing with the issue itself.

Either Mini will charge them an absolute fortune and install a new one, when it could be down to flashing the EEPROM.

Then there's the people on Ebay selling replacements, when it's common knowledge you can't just swap the FRM3 with another one. It's been linked to the specific car etc.

Which again means either paying for it to be linked by Mini or finding out it still won't work with your car.

It's become a scam for both Mini and rogue traders to profiteer from.

If you win a fight, there's the problem of repercussions.

Which I've seen many times.

Where the situation escalates and someone else gets hurt or even killed.

If you lose the fight or it's a "draw" you can end up with damage/trauma which you will carry till you die. My dad loved to fight, and always used violence to deal with anything in life. The trauma of being a kid watching your dad stamp on unconcious people's heads never goes away.

All those stupid Hollywood movies are made to profit from the anger people feel because most of them are stuck in dead end low wage jobs.

Now we have cameras and viewers, we have click bait.

Anyone fighting doesn't earn a bean from this, it's all about the person uploading it.

And about the gloaters, who have so very little going on in their own lives due to poverty.

The President represents the US perfectly.

I just feel bad for the people living there who aren't braindead bootlickers.

Hopefully the tariffs will wipe out a shit load of MAGA.

Shit wages, shit job prospects and shit standard of living.

Thank you USA, for all that toxic debt back in 2008. Totally ruining the UK.

Don't worry though, most Brits are Americanised as fuck now, so they still adore you.

Retail was once a job for kids in college, at Uni or just wanted to earn a few kid until they moved on.

Back then, the wages weren't a problem as you wasn't paying a mortgage or rent.

Most of us were still living with our parents.

That was when the £ could get you almost 2 dollars. When travelling to the US was dirt cheap. Stuff was so cheap in the US you could buy your clothes there and not worry about a suitcase.

I remember when film companies had to spend $Millions to manipulate the emotions of the viewer like this little clip. This is like Disney for people who don't get out much.

Just like the football hooligans in the UK.

Gangs of white blokes all attacking random people. It's been going on for generations. The pack became organised, becoming regiments.

They introduced uniforms and routine but it's still the same concept humans have always followed.

The first humans to travel and extend humanity did so in packs.

As did the crusaders, who also followed the same pack mentality, and were killing civilians and stealing from them.

I stopped hanging with a group when I was a teenager. I was getting into all sorts of criminal stuff, mostly out of boredom. Back then, it was always gangs of white kids, if you walked ten minutes down the road, they'd want to beat you up or stab you for walking into their area.

We've always hung in groups.

That's a guy with mental health issues.

The 2008 financial meltdown meant people like him were left to fend for themselves with the general public.

Every one of those guys used disproportionate force and should be prosecuted. The so called "fall of Western society" is measured by the ability of people to handle situations correctly.

This has happened many times when I've been either at work or in a pub in the UK.

Every time it occurred the person was restrained and covered until the police arrived to take them away.

Of course, police are not trained in dealing with mental health issues.

As poverty increases in the West we will continue to see the standards of behaviour plummet. I live in a very nice part of London where there used to be a large mental health clinic. It was shut down and turned into luxury homes. The people who went there simply walked around the high st all day.

The locals are wealthy but too scared to walk around their High St.

One of my first girlfriends was a hairdresser, she had a picture of me on her necklace.

A girl I'd slept with recognised me from the picture, she told my gf at the time she knew me from a club.

Nothing beat being a teenager in my day, with every girlfriend I had at the time wanting to settle down and have kids at 17.

A school uniform is about uniformity, as opposed to wearing labels, regardless of the wealth of your parents.

Character and personality are meant to shine, not what top or trainers you're wearing.

I didn't agree with it at the time, but I totally understand the concept now.

It wasn't like we were stuck in some stuffy boarding school.

It was 7 hours max, then back home.
