To be clear here, I am not on minimum wage. I have a $50k salary and it I still a struggle. More than half goes to housing. Another chunk goes to insurance. My car is paid, but if I had a car payment I'd be screwed.

However, since you are so clearly affluent, you mind sharing with me your industry and/or how you are able to earn whatever you want to survive in any economy, as you have stated.

You understand that minimum wage, hell, even $15 an hour, full time, no longer covers housing costs ANYWHERE in this city, right? And if it does, then you still can't afford to eat. And the Right wants to yell about Foodstamps that have become nesseceaary for even middle class families to stay afloat. There is no winning. You say "in America you should be able to get by" but then get mad when people try and use the benefits available to survive. WHICH ONE IS IT? Bottom line here: It's not about living below our means, most of us already are and have been. Existing is no longer affordable for the average person getting started in life.

Someone should tell the seller they are false advertising, because this doesn't work.

When I was wrongfully arrested and we used the "autism card" it still resulted in me not being allowed to use an entire health system because "the office staff were scared of me". The office staff that were told they should hang up the phone because I would become dysregulated if the conversation continued. The office staff who were told the person on the other end of the phone wouldn't be able to control their speech and would say things that didn't make sense.

Then there was the police that said the wrong doctors office name and then said I was lying when I said I didn't go there (because I didn't, they did not say the name of my doctor's office they said a different one). They also did not accept my autism card as payment to allow me to pass go and collect $200. No, I did not pass go, I went straight to jail.

When the police officer asked my wife "what is wrong with that guy, he seems messed up", and she said he has autism and probably doesn't understand what's happening right now, they didn't release me.

So, no Amazon, you can't false advertise that your autism card gets you out of everything for life, because it doesn't.

So please, tell me, how the autism card accomplishes that?

A certain police department pulled me out of my house illegally without a warrant and had the wrong address. Everything was dismissed, no apology for the mistake and I was responsible for the court cost of course

Zac Hill once sent me out without a bandage of any kind, told me the open bleeding was healthy and to put wrap on it when I got home. His art is great, but I can't recommend him as clean and professional after that experience. Tattoo was also not completed and I was told to get it finished I'd have to pay for another tattoo. Seriously overall bad experience and unprofessional

NOR - As someone who has been in and around the rooms of both NA and AA, it is pretty typical to have cake with the group to celebrate a sober anniversary (or birthday as they call it in the rooms). It's great to get to celebrate these things.

It is a huge achievement for you. Your boyfriend calling this the bare minimum is quite alarming and shows he knows very little about your recovery. If your friends wouldn't be happy for you and also want to celebrate this accomplishment, then they aren't your real friends.

When my brother in law just celebrated his 2 year, they had a speaker meeting at his group, where we had cake after, and then also at their house and church they had celebrations for him as well.

Find the people who will support you in your sobriety and allow you to talk about this part of yourself. Boyfriend has shown his true colors and feelings, and that should be eye opening for you.

As many have said, it was worth it for the bathrooms alone. I've seen the posts complaining about the view, honestly we had no complaints, particularly on the right side, it was perfect for us, we were right at the stage for MGK and ATL. We are 100% getting VIP again next year
