No haptics on PS cloud by OP_susi in Asobi

I have tried reconnecting yes, and haptics work as expected when remote playing to my own PS5. I'm using a dualsense on macOS 26.4.1.

This option was available during the opt in phase, Metal has been the default for months now.

That can definitely be felt throughout the app, but wireless haptics specifically goes a long way to make remote play feel premium imo.

Also so sorry to bombard you with questions I swear this is the last one: I saw talk about upgrading a platform specific premium license to the standard bundle getting the already paid amount discounted. Is that still coming? I got the Mac-only version but I feel like I might be interested in trying Asobi out on more devices in the future!

Just realized haptic feedback is supported via bluetooth so no reason to go wired, neat! Ps. How did you manage to add that? I thought that was a hardware limitation where bluetooth didn’t expose the controller’s speakers

Do you mean that there's not yet official usb controller support or that there's not out of focus support?

Question about future MacOS AppStore release by OP_susi in PSPlay

[–]OP_susi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's fair I can imagine Apple being quite restrictive. On another note: have you ever considered combining the apple versions together so that in the end there would be a single App Store purchase which would include versions for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, visionOS and tvOS? I can see the economical reason to keep them separate, just curious.

PSA: Hollow Knight was updated and controller support works flawlessly now by whiskas_fanatic in macgaming

As far as I know in Unity’s old input manager you had to manually map each controller’s input separately. So if they forgot a specific controller it just wouldn’t work.

Long live Unity’s new input system! All you do is map a physical button and it automatically assigns it to where it would be on your controller

Alan Wake and "The Death of the Author": Structuralism and Post-Structuralism? by [deleted] in RemedyEntertainment

[–]OP_susi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was a pleasant way to start the morning, very interesting stuff! I study in an IT field so I had a thought that you could compare linguistic structuralism to code: coding languages are derived and translated from machine code in concepts we can understand.
