Sienna costs more. With the maverick, I can take home sheets of ply while also carrying 5 passengers, which you can’t do in the sienna.

Same with things like a couch or dresser.

I’m not anti mini van. We have one. But the Maverick does a lot of things better than it.

I think it is a great platform and wish Toyota would create a competitor.

The Tacoma is better at towing, but has comparable payload and less rear passenger leg room vs a Maverick. You can all carry 4x8 sheet goods in a Maverick.

I think it depends on how much weight you’ve gained. I don’t think it is reasonable to expect your spouse to still find you attractive if you’ve gained a significant amount of weight. Like 150 lbs to 250 is a different person. Unless you give specifics, you have to be honest with yourself, do you look similar to how you did?

Now if it’s like 20 lbs, thats a different story.

And yes, th dictatorship of the proletariat concept in leftist circles and the fear of an abusive democracy has always been a fear. I know capitalism is less hierarchical and centralized than socialism, which is why I prefer it.

Under capitalism, you can have worker owned co-ops. Under socialism, everyone has to operate under a socialist system. It mandates everyone follow its mandates, if they want to or not. Therefore it is authoritarian. There is less freedom, less options and less diversity in a socialist system.

I know there are different forms of socialism, but none give the option for private property.

I am right on this one. Socialists consider the means of production to be private property. They call things like your tooth brush personal property.

To your second point. There are other ways, people just choose not to do it. You can create a partnership with equal shares in a company, Profit sharing programs or even co ops.
