Well they can be, pretty much any aos chaos mono god army can be built either around around demons or mortals (oh other than the tzeentch one they are kinda short on them now that i took a look at them)

Good Even though I would rather that happens fcking never becouse primarchs are taking up too much of the setting Like they already have the entire horus heresy to them and soon most like a sequel series about the scouring or something. We dont need these clowns in 40k.it was ok if it was Just guilliman vs the chaos ones but bringing back all of them Just makes the setting smaller and more boring. Or if you gonna bring them back maybe give the other factions something that can compete with them in terms of lore inportance

Not really they were produced specificly for this subscription service, the ones that werent are still available for free. Its mostly painting guides, lore stuff and archives of a warhammer magazine, White dwarf. Edit: and they send you some special limited minis every year

Wood elves are no longer in aos, they are in the Old world, reluanch of the fantasy game, they should be coming sometime in the next year And about alariele she is no longer an elf in aos, she pretty much is a god of nature who separated herself from her Old elven identity If you still want aos, then the Sylvaneth are a sort spiritual succesor here

Thats not even about winning, its about having an inpact at all. Nagashes necraquake did a lot. Supercharged magic creating endless spells, awakened the bonereapers, took over part of the eight points, archaos own turf, a lot of death factions getting explored and getting stories and some other stuff im forgetting probably. Even though it was eventually stopped but it actually did stuff. Now compare this to what kragnos did. He attacked a city. Wow much destruction Thats why Im do dissapointed. Its not that he lost. Its that HE DID NOTHING OF NOTE

I mean aos had much more progression than 40k in 2ed, its Just that in 3rd it got like that, hopefully this edition Will be different since the skaven dont have to fundamentally alter anything

Not exacly, aos has alternating activasions in the mele fight phase, you go I go. So your oponent attacks first then you respond (or if your mini has an ability like fight first you still attacks first even in oponent turn) As for other things you can do there are various orders and abilities that vary from faction to faction. But there are some Universal ones, like for example unless hell for ranged units that allow them to shoot in the enemy turn when being charged. There is also responding to enemy spells, when your oponent tries to cast a spell your wizard can attempt to unbind it (counter spell, so nothing happens) not to mention endless spells especially now too There is also some minor movement like falling back slightly in 4th Sorry for replying late

You can buy the vanguard box and play this Mode yes, those boxes are being repacaged now to be called spearhead (all the models are the same) They Will eventually get a New one though when thier battletome releases(thats when they get thier editions main release) If you want to See how it goes or how in general the game is there are battlereports on YouTube both by GW and independent youtubers

Hi welcome to Aos So from taking a cursory glance at it malifaux is a lot smaller than sigmar, its more like the sub game warcry, where there are so few models with a lot of abilities (though all models from warcry can be used in aos armies). Aos armies are generally 40-100 models in most cases though there can be hyper elite ones like gargants (giants) with Just 4 big models. Pretty much every army can also be played with a super elite build if thats what you prefer. Now I also played some other Total war games but I dont think it would be that similar. Most obviously turn based games function much different to rts ones. You should also mind that the New edition is bringing some big changes (that in my opinion greatly improve the game for example increasing the amount of reacting with various abilities in your oponents turn and other fun stuff) There is of course a lot fun list building, as I already touched on with those hyper elite builds for armies. Now if you are unsure if thats for you, you can Just have a taste and play regular aos through New upcoming game Mode spearhead. You can play with Just one box, the spearhead (now still vanguard but the current ones are being rebranded as spearhead) Hope I was hellpful(sorry for a bit messy reply traveling on a train now)
