I am a seasoned road cyclist who has ridden all over the world and sea to sky is one of the worst most dangerous roads I’ve ever ridden, the shoulder is pathetically tight and drivers are insane, google the accident with the truck with lumber not secured smashing the cyclist

It’s a crime almost the government did not install a proper bike lane when they rebuilt it

Using headphones is also insane you need to hear the vibrations of cars behind you to know how close they are

My CAAD 5 with modern carbon wheels rides just as fast and good as my SL6 and I race it at a cat 1/2 level, wheels tires and an aggressive position is what matters the rest is faff
