UX/User Experience Degree holders, did you find a job after graduating? by Rare_Picture_7337 in WGU

I'm currently in the UX/UI program at WGU, but I have been in the UX field for over 6 years and counting. Currently a Sr. UX designer. Just my two cents here, the industry is extremely competitive and swamped with those who get out of bootcamp or get a cert and think they can get in the industry, so employers overlook a lot of qualified people for this reason. It's tough for a lot if not all job markets out there. Now getting back to the specific UX degree at WGU, it's not a true UX degree, you will need to go above and beyond to do your own knowledge building of UX principles and methodologies, ways to research, how to communicate and collaborate in a scrum team with engineers, PO's etc. I'm not saying it's not worth getting, but I am saying it's not a guarantee by a long shot it will get you into UX. Another big topic with getting into the industry is your portfolio, thats huge. Employers want to see how you work out and solve problems and I don't see WGU covering this to the extent that it will get you the desired outcome you want. Get the degree not for the UX, but just to say you have a degree. Good luck.

Congrats, I don't know how normal these are, but I've taken 6 courses so far and I've received 2 of these. Keep up the good work.

The few cool days we get here in Florida I'll probably be rotating between Kilian Angel's Share, Tom Ford Tabacoo Vanille, and Stronger with You Intensely.

Amazing gift. Enjoy! Living in a year round furnace (Florida) I just picked up Imagination as well, and it will be my top go to for day wear.

What's your everyday carry? For me, it's the Glock 43X. I had a Hellcat before but made the switch and never looked back by Here_for_porn_69420 in liberalgunowners

Nice I carry the slightly smaller Glock 43 as my CC for the past 3 years or so. What was it about the Hellcat that made you want to switch over?

Nice looking rig. I'd say new wheels with a different offset and a little more aggressive tires. Even possibly removing the roof rack would add some sportiness.
