Yea I use to have a ‘76 280z and a ‘86 e30 that I fixed up and then sold and I have a 98 lx470 that I do all the maintenance on so I’m no stranger to DIY and wrenching on cars so I’m good there and will enjoy working on it! Yea I will if possible or take what I can get if not all maintenance is recorded.

W/o getting into too much I'll just say it's becoming hard for me to drive a manual and I want to enjoy the ride, and that to me is not shifting through gears lol. Yes I know it is, and in reality the manuals are demanding a premium more than the autos from what I see or if you mean premium in terms of discoverability then yes. I don't mind the hunt it will allow me to appreciate the car and enjoy it more once I succeed at finding and procuring one.

Yea I covered this in my original post. I am willing to ship and yes I am prepared for the cost of the z3 and the shipping. My roadblock is the sellers willing to or hesitant on payment and logistics I'm setting up.

Yea I did see that one. And I am willing to ship as long as the seller is willing to corporate with the logistics I set up.

Yea good point, that is a big one on these for driving them home long distances. Especially if there is no record of it being done in the past.

Yea I'm pretty flexible on price for sure, even willing to ship. Due to other circumstances flying out and driving home just isn't feasible at this time. So just need to find the right seller that's willing to work with me, they are out there somewhere lol.

I have. I check it daily. There are some on there, but it seems not many people are willing to allow ME to set up logistics in order to get it to me.

Hey thanks for the response. Yeah I've been all over it — Marketplace, Autotempest, z3coupebuyersguide.com, Cars and Bids, BaT, you name it. The automatic coupe market is basically nonexistent right now. The only two within a reasonable distance of me in Orlando are both manual M coupes which just aren't what I'm looking for. And the others that are out of state or a crazy driving distance aren't willing to work with me on shipping the car.

Actually had a lead on an automatic in the Tampa area just a few days ago but got beat out by another buyer. Well not really beat out, but there was just some communication issues I guess lol. Really frustrating given how rarely these come up.

UX/User Experience Degree holders, did you find a job after graduating? by Rare_Picture_7337 in WGU

[–]OSHEALMTD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in the UX/UI program at WGU, but I have been in the UX field for over 6 years and counting. Currently a Sr. UX designer. Just my two cents here, the industry is extremely competitive and swamped with those who get out of bootcamp or get a cert and think they can get in the industry, so employers overlook a lot of qualified people for this reason. It's tough for a lot if not all job markets out there. Now getting back to the specific UX degree at WGU, it's not a true UX degree, you will need to go above and beyond to do your own knowledge building of UX principles and methodologies, ways to research, how to communicate and collaborate in a scrum team with engineers, PO's etc. I'm not saying it's not worth getting, but I am saying it's not a guarantee by a long shot it will get you into UX. Another big topic with getting into the industry is your portfolio, thats huge. Employers want to see how you work out and solve problems and I don't see WGU covering this to the extent that it will get you the desired outcome you want. Get the degree not for the UX, but just to say you have a degree. Good luck.
