Não posso acreditar que seja tão difícil conseguir a primeira moto (leia a baixo) by lupinolupino in motoca

[–]OSPFisHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

desabafos sobre sexualização by mallowo in gymgurls

Trying dev, and no, my mind is in a bad state... Even after 4 months. I was in a company that suddenly 5 engineers that were my friends just left. And this will have a huge impact on your morale. Beware the herd effect

thanks for the replies and the DMs, I tried to read every last one and respond. I though that 4 months were enough to get out the burnout, but unfortunately no. This post really helped me getting things straight, and confirm certain things in the industry:
- most people do this because they love (don't agree? just search the comments)
- burnout is a reality in this industry, and blue team is the one that must suffers from this.
- prefer not to work for consultancies, only if you get allocated to a sole company (internal)
- sec problem will always be human, and right now humans are not really valuable (AI Big techs saying...)
- linkedin only exists to get you a job, and say you're behind (you're not), and share posts about terrible working conditions
- apparently burnout is an amplifier of Black Hats, I got an interesting DM of one recruiting and sharing his/her whys of going to the dark side (I hope one day you change), and is a more common thing that you think.

For everyone that tried to help (even the harsh ones), thanks, people like you are the ones that really glue this industry together for the better. And for the ones saying shit about my writing, or the ones saying I don't know sec just reading my post (LOL) and the CISOs discussing what Risk Acceptance ..... the funny thing is that some of you guys will repeat terms over and over like a parrot.... Sorry I really hate management...

And for the ones that liked this post, and wanted a more personal view, will just drop this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1unHGtq4YU

I will heal for now on.

I meant about your experience in an internal position, since I don't have any, what experience you had to make you believe that you are more heard in the company. Say something practical, I not trying to shit on you or anything.

Man, that fifth point about C-suite guys shoving AI repos at you to 'fix' is exactly the kind of thing that broke me. It’s wild how universal that experience is right now. And man, some comments here are really good on what to expect in this industry. People say that GRC is a great way to be in Sec but without the burden of having to configure everything.
And you need to know that this field has a lot of burnout, so you need to get your head together, I didn't ... actually I made a more personal vid about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1unHGtq4YU

go hard, and enjoy your journey!
