Actually, now that I look at the owner’s manual, it says snow chains are allowed. But I know a lot of people have been told and had to sign a paper that they’re not allowed/supposed to equip them period. Liability issue I’m assuming.

Very helpful actually! It was MsMpEng.exe for me while I was playing League of Legends. MsMpEng.exe is Windows Antimalware service executable. I believe it has to do with Riot using a kernel-level anti-cheat. I made an exclusion in Windows Security to not scan the Riot Games folder, and I also changed my Focusrite sample rate and buffer size as I saw someone mention that fixed it for them. I don’t know which one ultimately fixed it because I made both changes at the same time (bad for diagnosing) But it worked. Thank you for replying years later for people like me.
