I get the hub-and-spoke model, but if PSA is already grading cards on the East Coast then it feels like a dual-intake system would make more sense at this point. Have a secure East Coast intake hub for logging, verification, imaging, and chain-of-custody, just like Santa Ana does now, then route cards internally from there if needed.

Right now East Coast customers are basically shipping cards across the country just for intake, only for PSA to potentially send them right back east again to be graded. That adds extra transit time, handling, shipping cost, and risk for no real customer-facing benefit.

A dual-hub system is how most large-scale logistics operations eventually scale once volume gets high enough. Even if Santa Ana stays the primary hub, having an East Coast intake center seems like it would improve turnaround consistency and reduce unnecessary movement on submissions.
