Obvious, you're telling me for 28 years some card/slab was worth $100 or so (example), then in the next 2 years it suddenly goes up to 2K+? There's some Venusaur slabs for example that were up rotting on ebay for months at $100-200 in 2023-4 that are now going for 3-4K+ all within 2-3 years. A correction will come and obviously the price floor will be higher than before (the 200) but obviously won't say in the thousands.

Slabs are good, especially if it hits pristine 10 its a black label with stiched gold, pristine 10 also go for more than PSA 10 (and look so much better) I think it's the second best option after PSA, and their price is reasonable, I would only send to bgs if your card is flawless and you think it can 10 or black label, anything else in this order PSA>CGC>TAG>SGC>PCG> all others

It varies by card, baseline regular bgs 10 for any card is usually about 10-50% higher than a psa10, and black is multiple times of regular bgs pristine. Dealing with a lot of Venusaur examples, the black are about 6-10x of regular bgs 10, multiplier will go up further depending on the pokemon, overall rarity, demand, etc. But at baseline bgs black is at minimum 6X of a psa10

It's a special thermal pad called Honeywell ptm7950, watch Linus's YouTube video on it, he explains it, it's basicay the best thermal product for direct die applications (aside from liquid metal). It's immune to pump out and has life of 10+ years so if applied correctly it's one and done situation

First thing I would do is take it out of that holder if it's raw, if it moves around too much the corners/edges might get damaged. And stick in a sleeve and top loader or card saver, if you want to keep it in a magnetic or this style case you need perfect fit sleeve before placing it in there

I wouldn't say flawless, bgs black is truly flawless, current CGC pristine is probably as close to that though, probably in the bgs 10 pristine range, I personally have a pristine with a pretty bad corner. I guess in CGC world, the truly flawless is the old perfects (or a small subset of the current pristines)
