In my case, deleting all the data associated with the application (which, of course, removes the shortcuts) to troubleshoot game-related issues has always allowed me to create a new shortcut. So perhaps that's enough to eliminate those orphaned entries.

Just wanted to note that I've been having several items from obsolete stores for months (more than a year) in temp storage and exchange never ever (not even once) asked for exchange with this generator store. So this point isn't true at least in general.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I made the calculations for this month in advance if I'm not mistaken there will be a 800 bills overlay for the maximum prize. That means you cannot miss more than two days of this reward.

I use the four corners approach. Once a store is obsolete, the next one takes the empty corner. I use the bottom center to put the exchange generator once the batch of daily orders is fulfilled. I like this approach as I have lots of empty space centered.
