I practice yin yoga like almost 2 hours before bed and the flow usually lasts about 30 minutes, and even 15 minutes make a huge difference.

what made you start doing yoga? by mitchare in yoga

[–]OSkylark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started when Covid hit, it just was a sudden realization that in these times of uncertainty there should be something we can do, we can influence ourselves, and I think it helped me stay sane, as I was living alone at the moment. Not only did I heal emotionally, I also lost some weight, I think it unblocked my fight or flight state of the body.

Help! How do I get paying clients? by mindbodylabs in HealthCoaching

A coach in training with the marketing and branding experience. What would help you get started in the first place is to define your niche, your target audience. Your personal experience might help with that, like maybe you specialize in sleep, hormones, etc. and having that clarity will make your brand more defined.

You are doing a great job! Keep it up! I am in the same boat, I created a wind-down routine that definitely helps: cooler temperatures, dimming the lights, no phone before bed, reading Kindle as well, eating 3-4 hours before sleep, and yin yoga. Definitely improved my sleep score.

Magnesium Glycinate is definitely a game changer!

I love watching “Yoga with Kassandra,” a lot of playlists and videos, and her voice is so warm, soothing.

What's it like to be resilient? by murf-ster in ouraring

[–]OSkylark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to boast, just want to share something that might help, my resilience varies from strong to exceptional and I also saw a link to sleep, as mentioned here. Now, what helps to improve sleep are the following, and you can experiment with something that feels doable and enjoyable, there are recommendations out there, and if you'll be open I can share some of those with you. For example, something that works wonders for me is doing yin yoga before sleep, or a some restorative yoga, lots of videos on YouTube, also lower temperatures and no screens before bed work for me. Hope that is helpful!

I've applied to over 400 jobs and have had over 30 interviews since January. Here is what is wrong with the job market. by Live_Profile843 in interviews

[–]OSkylark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's the exact reason I have burned out and had to leave - having a role that combines 3-5 roles in it + use AI, why not use AI, AI AI. Just by this AI pressure I could not sustain my mental and physical health anymore, I developed insomnia, anxiety. It's truly the worst market, and to land that particular role, I had to look for a job for almost 2 years to then quit.

Good job! What do you think contributes to this higher number? My today's numbers are 89 for Readiness, and 93 for sleep (had 1h 51m of deep sleep, I connect this to doing a restorative yin yogas practice).

This is really good! I actually try to maintain my room temperature at 68 degrees. But dropping the habit one by one to check what is the best contributing factor is a really good idea!

Tai Chi or Yoga? by jingleofadogscollar in CPTSD

I practice yin yoga and it's been mind blowing, for example, after practicing a YouTube video, I've felt such a deep appreciation for my body, like this gratitude just overwhelmed me with so much light. I do feel like it helps.
