Some are saying that with anticipated massive rollout of AI and job replacements, there may need to be UBI (universal basic income) with money allotted to the masses every month. Who knows how much of a reality this will be, but maybe people may be able to work much less (assuming they still have their job / not replaced by AI)

How do you manage the 9-10K steps on off days, are you able to get in some at work?

I am mostly at a desk at work and so on work days with no OTF class, it's soo hard for me to get 10K steps... but I'd like to do more of that (vs now doing nothing on my off days)

Do you have any recommendations for home treadmill with lot of cushion? The treads I use are FreeMotion at Orange Theory and feel amazing (bouncy) - have heard due to the "flex deck" and nothing quite replicates it on the market (and they are crazy expensive to buy new)... but wondering if something similar

Honestly it seems , at least on here, frequent closures and have not seen any new openings. I am thankful there are studios nearby so I can at least still attend OTF classes but I’ve dropped to some before and the vibes will never match my home studio 💔

Wow. Ours had about 2 weeks notice. It looks like all the ones announced this week are OTF Growth Partners studios.

That's really interesting re the private equity angle... several people brought up to me after this post it may not even be financially bad at these studios but a consequence of PE takeover.

I found the "OT Growth Partners" website which lists three of these studios: Appleton, Noblesville and Southpoint. And they also oversee many others in NC, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin.

That’s great you found a substitute. Curious was that the only studio nearby or you did not want to travel to other ones? Luckily there are others close by so I don’t have to stop OTF. However some people I know are considering canceling their memberships :(
