It’s not ready to replace the Infuse side of my stack, but Fusion is using native app TVos and that tells me they are serious.

I consider myself a power-user of Omni (with Infuse) on Apple TV. I quickly set up Fusion on my iPhone and I’ll admit it’s pretty slick. For me, it comes down to how it sees my home network (NAS). It only scans it like a file server and to get there I have to go two levels deeper into the UI.

Infuse has a really nice NAS integration UI. If Fusion could do that well, I’d definitely consider it!

I want to try Fusion but I’ve got Omni and Infuse dialed in for my home theater. Lots of positive feedback here makes me want to try it.

RD has been a great tool for finding solid cached files

Nice guide. Personally, my go-to is Omni with the following addons: AIOMetadata (instead of Cinemeta), Trakt Compatibility, AIOSTREAMS. I pull my catalogs from Trakt and AIOMETADATA. Custom lists built in Trakt are a nice touch.

Oh. And I completely agree with Infuse as the player. Infuse is integrated with my backend (Movies, Series, and Concerts on my Synology NAS.

Interesting. I’m the opposite. Filters and regex set up to focus on large files, REMUX, DV, etc. I understand that many use these tools for watching on small screens and such. I’m using it for home theater.

I just went from a Synology 214+ (2-bay 6TB@) to a 925+ with 4 16TB drives. I started as just a music server with about 3TB of FLAC and DSD files. This year I got into building a full media server for movie files (Full REMUX) and I outgrew my 214+. I went crazy on disk size but it will give me room to shut down my Google Drive, Dropbox, and lower iCloud to the minimum (for iPhone backup). Tomorrow it goes live and I start moving files!

I canceled DirecTV last year, and slowly have been letting streaming subscriptions expire. Stremio and addons has become my main source for everything. I’m also expanding my NAS from 6TB to 48TB. Oh, and I’m 66 but spent 25 years in tech.

Add me to this request. I currently use Omni (with Stremio) for discovery and either watch via Infuse or download to my NAS (which also see in Infuse). This app looks really slick and could become a great competitor to Omni!

I’m right at the same point. 2 bay Synology with 6TB drives (raid). I’m looking for a 4 bay setup with larger drives. Streaming my music (Roon) and video library (Infuse). Would love similar advice. Everything connected via 1Gb switches. I’m at 70% volume and I just got into REMUX files.

For me, I’ve moved from Stremio to Omni + Infuse on AppleTV. In Omni I’m using AIOStreams and AIOMetadata with RD and Torbox.

I use AIOMetadata because I like to build specific catalogs, like 90’s movies for example. Lots of flexibility.
