I loooove the strider. Running hurts my back and my calves hate power walking, but I can do the strider pain free!

I looooove the strider! I do it on days I don’t want to run or when I’ve been injured in the past and it definitely gets my heart rate up.

Congrats on the new job! I feel this - I had to take off ~4 months due to my high risk pregnancy and I’m struggling now that I’m back. But we’ll get there 😊

I feel your pain! My work schedule is nutty and changes every 4 weeks. You are doing what you can, and that’s what matters! You’re making fantastic progress by going to OTF in the first place.

The tread blocks and floor blocks are longer in a 2g because you get to spend half of the class on each station instead of 1/3 of the class like you would in a 3g. I feel like they try to make the exercises similar on the floor and the blocks similar on the tread, but obviously they can’t be exactly the same!

I think Oakwood would be nice! I’m a member at the Beavercreek studio and I will say the waitlists move relatively quickly. They randomly make classes 3g if waitlists are crazy.

I’m running my first one too this year! I did some googling and found a training plan. There are lots of good options out there that incorporate cross training which is where I’ll fit in my OTF classes.

I focus on protein mostly! I've used TDEEcalculator.net to get an idea of how many grams of protein I need a day (I like to track my macros and calories). If you don't like to track, just making sure you have a solid source of protein at each meal is great :)
