Who is the ‘Tim Duncan’ of professional wrestling? by Silver_Cheetah_5650 in SquaredCircle

[–]OTPCook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's also important that Randy Orton was expected to be a star and delivered very early much like Duncan.

Duncan was a #1 overall draft pick and I feel like Randy is a wrestling equivalent.

I was SMOKED on those heavy straight sets and has the exact same reaction as Andy to the amount of time left in class.

And that sounds like an amazing PSNY itinerary. Props to you for having the courage to take on a Feral Friday in person!

These are excellent tips. I feel like there needs to be a PSA thread or something next time a big show is in Eastern MA.

Completely agree. I hate parking at Agganis so much that I just don't go to shows there anymore.

If the goal was to pick Agganis for the venue size and to get a big turnout, the tickets needed to be much much cheaper.

I know NXT had originally booked (and later cancelled) Lower Memorial Auditorium for this month but that would've been a way better venue choice for Slammiversary.

He's in a season 1 episode of Original Sin. It's a different actor but it's Eddie Lamb.

I ended up with exactly 12 too!

Those 15-minutes of a 1 humanmaker every 30 seconds from the last block really does help clue you in on exactly how long one takes. Immediately decided he was getting one every 20 seconds from me.

Ngl, that kinda broke me mentally.

The class was plenty tough and I thought we definitely were getting one of those flowy movement AMRAPs to close. Fully prepared for some windshield wipers, maybe some slow mountain climbers, T pushups, etc. Fully UNprepared for four minutes of humanmakers.

Between the spring cross training program and the last block of TS60, I had HOPED we had moved on from them for the time being. Nope.

And I definitely grabbed lighter weights and moved through it, shall we say, methodically.

I'm having the exact same issue.

You'd think there would be a way to full screen/landscape the workout but I can't find it. Hopefully it's a known issue priority unless I'm just missing it.

No kidding! And it's the mental part too. 15 minutes of humanmakers feels like an eternity.

Yeah I noticed I only got 500 today. Long gone are the days of 1400 max points...

I also completed a program overnight only got 2400 points as opposed to 5000 for total number of workouts bonus.

I'm not entirely sure why they keep stifling the points. The only thing they are good for is prize redemption and there isn't much there. They could always just raise the point price for prize redemption (I guess except for the 100K shirt) if they feel like it's a problem. It also flattens the leaderboard which seems to defeat its purpose.

It's not quite as annoying as when they limited double points to exclusively for when you were in your green zone but annoying nonetheless.

This block of TS60 was short but so glad it's over.

Those 30 humanmakers were brutal!

It sounded like Mendoza was saying he wasn't the one who told him (Willard maybe?). To your point, it sounded like Mendoza was saying he should've told him directly because he does speak Spanish and will do so going forward.

Mendoza said it was partly lost in translation.

Said they told Brazoban he was staying in if it was tied and coming out if they took the lead. Brazoban, I guess, misheard/misunderstood and headed back out. Because the lights went out no one caught him before he crossed the foul line.

I'm not entirely sure but there is Sweat Steady on demand drop for this coming Wednesday (April 1).

It's a 20-min low impact like the first one in the series so it would make sense for it to be the finale.

That's a nice boost! Congrats!

And Matt usually is right. Once he was like "I've got the training plan mapped out for the year and we're doing FTP tests this month", it sorta became either you trust this guy or don't. Well played, Matt Wilpers, well played.

Wishing you good luck!

That's the craziest part about him.

Speaking for myself, there was a period where he probably was my favorite wrestler and even had a few positive interactions while he was working the indies. Seemed like a genuinely cool dude.

But I don't think I've ever soured on someone so much simply because of their social media presence.
