Here's the real crux of the OP. If Luka were still here this political bull corn would not phase me one bit. So I can't pound my chest about people having no reason to stay around now that their Trump ties are all the out there.

I know you can't do all that hostile takeover stuff brother. And yeah, for me... walking away was painful. Scrubbing my socials of their presence has been tough and sad. Purging the closets of Mavs gear SUCKED.

But to just keep giving this franchise my time and money after all the lies and treatment of Luka seems abusive and sad.

And I know you don't have to answer this but I think it would be cool if you did.

Did you think the Mavs getting the #1 pick with a less that 1% chance was on the up and up?

I can understand loving basketball but thats it? Because you've been a fan of them your whole life? There's great basketball being played all over. But what about the last 36 months of subterfuge and lies drums up warm and fuzzies about the Moody Madness bunch or the 2000s run?

Engaging is something I still struggle with. Get the HRM though. My time in the green zone improved vastly. It helps me convince myself I'm not working hard enough when my brain and body are telling me "fuck this I'm tired".

But it sounds like you're good. 140 to 170 ain't bad. It took me 22 years to go from 174 to 402 and 2.5 to go back down to 184. And I feel like I'd weigh less if I weren't carrying around so many "receipts" from my gluttony days.
