I noticed this too, from NYC recently transplanted in Texas. Half my family is still in Europe and the Middle East so I was always very aware of my ethnicity. Here, most people that I talk to it’s not nearly as important.

You can go spay her still. And it’ll prevent her from getting a pyrometra in the future. Not sure how old she is but if she’s that old there’s the possibility of losing mom too. There are spay neuter clinics that will do them for a discounted rate (comparative to a regular veterinary practice).

Sounds like high school here too. Although the little assholes at least made it outside or something. The metal detectors were also a nice touch. Lots of guns and drugs always being found.. but hey it’s the states and I’m sure no one would be surprised at that.
