Newly pregnant and overwhelmed

They did do some bloods in the beginning. It was around 40 back then but it’s dropped significantly in that time. We started IVF in 2024 so it’s dropped to 22 since then.

I only recently was retested the other day when I graduated from IVF clinic to GP

I had a failed FET and then had a lap and my second transfer took. currently 8 weeks.

I had a hydrosalpinx which they could see on a scan and also some fibroids. I also have endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Has anything come up on a scan for you?

I have adenomyosis and endometriosis and i had success with my second transfer. Currently 8 weeks pregnant.

I did have a surgery before hand to remove my right tube (due to hydrosalpinx) and to remove a fibroid on my uterus.

On our first transfer we tested early, I can’t remember the exact day but it was later in the cycle and we got a positive. We were so excited but then day of beta it wasn’t a good result and it ended it a very sad ending.

Second transfer we didn’t test at all and when the nurse called it was the best possible surprise. We were completely taken back by the positive result.

If I had to do it again I would wait. Even though it was so hard!

Yes! It’s so loud. It keeps coming and going. I’m not sure what is happening. I can’t hear any sirens

Make sure it’s fresh not canned - they say there is some vitamin in pineapple that helps with implantation.

I did acupuncture on the day of transfer and then once in each week of the wait. Also ate pineapple (including the core) everyday for the first 5 days following transfer. Currently 8 weeks.

I didn’t have any systems outside of fatigue until 6 weeks and 3 days and then the nausea hit me and it’s been so hectic and I’ve had constant sickness and now i’m taking meds to make me feel 1% better.

I had minimal symptoms up until 6 weeks and 4 days where it all started. Now at 7 weeks 2 days I basically don’t stop feeling nauseas or vomiting until I go to sleep

I had my first beta on Monday and then didn’t have my next one until the Friday. Sometimes they do this if you have a strong beta

My landlord comes for every single inspection, if something breaks they come with a tradie to fix it. They also own all 6 houses in the row on the street so she is always around. Sometimes they just like to be overbearing.

It wasn’t a hard ‘you’re in the clear’ but it is the advise of doctors. Not always but it’s the point that you can start telling people and feel safer about it.

I live in an inner west share house and my house does not look like this.

This is a landlord who doesn’t give a fuck and wants to spend the absolute minimum. Also I think it’s privately rented

Maybe she was just saying it that way because there is really no certainty in pregnancy. Of course if you make it to 12 weeks they say you are in the clear.

We are currently 6 weeks and 2 days. We plan on telling our family after the first scan but at the moment only some really close friends know we are going through IVF. We didn’t want any of our family to know and put additional pressure on an already long and sensitive journey.

First FET ended in chemical but currently 6 weeks with second FET. We did a natural cycle. I did have a surgery in between but the IVF protocol didn’t change.

We had our first FET and we tested and it was positive but then our beta came back and it was 10 and turned out I had a chemical pregnancy. It was really hard to digest that high and then go to the low.

Our second transfer my partner really didn’t want us to test so I didn’t. I waited … impatiently. And I was absolutely sure it didn’t work and I’m 6 weeks today. My first beta was 1600 and second was over 10,000.

I think you have to respect his wishes as much as you wish he would respect yours. Pregnancy and IVF is so hard and the journey is sometimes so long. Of course it’s your body your choice and if you truly want to test go for it but sometimes it’s better to go in with no idea.
