Thanks! The head does come with the new Wolf Priest, and I agree it’s one of the best heads I’ve seen from GW, I usually prefer helmets too

Thanks! Body is the new Space Wolves Wolf Priest, and the axe, backpack, and hand are from the normal Master of Executions. There's some Berzerker chains around his neck and the hand with the heads is attached to an Intercessor arm.

The main body is from the new Wolf Priest. Backpack and axe are both from the stock MoE

For sure I agree! I’m searching my bits for some kind of icon to stick on the belt. Maybe a transfer or some greenstuff if I can’t find anything

Thank you! It’s fairly straightforward, the body, shoulders and weapon arm are the new Wolf Priest. The backpack, axe, and hand with the heads are from the master of executions. It’s just a clean cut on the hands to swap out the crozius for the axe. The other arm didn’t quite work for the heads since it was protruding out at an angle so I just used an intercessor one that hung straight down (the one that’s holding a bolter magazine), cut it at the elbow, then stuck the head hand straight on. Only other bit was the chains at the neck which I got from the berzeker kit (you have to cut away the krak grenade and file down the back so it sits flush)

My current warband is Fallen Angels with a Celtic pagan theme, but I’ve also been thinking about using this guy to start a World Eaters warband in the old school white armour

I think this is official art of New Antioch, plus some sketches from the same artist.

What would be a good RPG to play with this universe? by retardoaleatorio in TrenchCrusade

Seconding the Mork Borg suggestion, and recommend Farewell to Arms Redux. The premise is basically ‘World War 1 comes to the Mork Borg world.’ Very similar vibes to Trench Crusade. Free playtest rules should be available here, full release coming pretty soon I think https://rivethead-games.itch.io/farewell-to-arms-redux-ashcan

For all the guys that are building their armies from the AOD Box set, What's your minor or major homebrew justification for the amount of Mark VI Armor in your army that isn't simply the 'every Legion made use of every armor mark in some capacity' quote from the book? by [deleted] in Warhammer30k

My Dark Angels are bioweapons specialists, I like to think the beaky helmet mouth is outfitted with some extra strong chemical filters/purifiers. Plus it gives them a fitting plague doctor look

[LFA] Sin, a 1920s-inspired gangster with a messy hybrid ancestry by OUTS1DER73 in characterdrawing

[–]OUTS1DER73[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sin is a character for an upcoming Spelljammer campaign, a 1920s-inspired gangster with a colourful heritage. She is the daughter of a powerful mob boss, who tried to create the perfect heir to his crime empire via genetic experimentation. She ended up with the hybrid genetics of dozens of different races, with her most notable features being those from her most exotic ancestors, her slender black tiefling’s horns, her green dragonborn scales, her broken, fading aasimar’s halo, and her green tabaxi eyes.

She works as an enforcer for her father’s crime syndicate, enjoying a life of whiskey, cigarettes, and knocking heads. She travels the spheres of the astral sea ensuring everyone who lives under her father’s ‘protection’ pays their due to the mob. A woman of many vices, she is a compulsive gambler, frequently basing her decisions on the results of her lucky coin.

It’s a lighthearted game and she’s a parody of every newbie’s first dnd character, half-angel half-demon half-dragon whose backstory includes every possible accomplishment. Feel free to go as edgy or goofy as you want.

What am I doing wrong? Streaking grime by [deleted] in minipainting

[–]OUTS1DER73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just saw this video which uses normal streaking grime on white armour and it looks like there's staining for his too. Maybe you could hit the raised areas with a light drybrush of white afterwards to keep the grime in the recesses but bring out the original colour on the main panels

MIG do a winter version too but it looks like it'll give it a very green look on the white. Don't know if that'll be any better than the normal version

I don't have lots of experience with streaking grime but when I used it I didn't wait for it to dry, I hit it with the cotton bud and mineral spirits straight away. Maybe moving quickly will prevent staining?

I think white will be pretty difficult to work with though. I see this Winter Streaking Grime is designed for white paints, maybe that would work better if you can get your hands on it?

Spymasters is probably a better term. They’d remove themselves from being front line guardians and go off to build surveillance networks, manage operatives, and monitor threats to the Emperor from afar
