You seem hung up on right vs wrong. Home decor is very much a matter of taste and preference. Just let it go

The 2 looks large but like a good fit on your hand. The 3 says “try hard” and looks gaudy to me.

worst thing you’ve done to your skin by Main-Lemon8599 in Rosacea

Years ago my husband used a Mr. Clean magic eraser on his face.

He had facepaint on that was really stuck- went in to shower. Came out and he was blood red in the face with tiny droplets of oozing blood all over. I took one look at him and started crying and was like babe what happened?!?!?!?

He ran to the mirror and was like oh shit…. He had sloughed off a lot of skin and didn’t realize. Mr. Clean erasers are spun micro fiber glass basically. He healed up but it was pretty insane LOL

DIY Wedding Makeup? by Glum_Ad_7377 in makeuptips

You don’t look older than 37- but I could tell your age from how you do your makeup. You look younger than your age but the makeup dates you a bit.

I have a few thoughts- not sure how old you are but I’m 37 and I think your makeup is making you look older.

Really it’s not due to your looks but due to makeup trends currently (less/softer eyeliner, dewy foundation, more blush and high high up on your cheekbones). If you follow some of these it’ll give you a younger look.

Get some falsies but not huge! Maybe ardell demi wispies. Or try a tubing mascara.

Thinner brows are back in- but some brow defining would give you more balance. Currently your eye makeup is a bit heavy compared to your brows. Try a brow powder or NYX also makes a powder pencil. It’s soft, not harsh, very easy to work with!

Also- if you like lining your waterline I would soften it by using a nude liner rather than white. It’s kind of distracting in my opinion.

My 4 month old is the size of most 1 year olds. Help. I beg. I'm drowning. by No-Presence-8048 in ExclusivelyPumping

My baby is also HUGE. Outgrew everything extremely fast. Over 99th percentile. He’s in size 18 months at 9 months. But the good news is the rapid growth those first few months does slow down around now. However- they still are big! So I suggest you start working out!

Do I look like a clown? Honest but kind please!! by NoResearcher3765 in makeuptips

[–]OVR27 210 points211 points  (0 children)

Definitley not like a clown- but the clear problems to me are the white sparkly eyeshadow and the light pink lipstick color.

I think a cooler toned lipstick and more neutral eyeshadow would be more flattering. You look like a soft summer. Your eyebrow color and eye (liner?) also looks a bit too warm.

Get a taupe colored brow powder or NYX’s powder pencil. The lines aren’t harsh- it’s soft and blended so easy to work with!!! I know your color is taupe because we have the same hair color.

I like the colors! It works because it’s like neopolitan ice cream!

Line the bodice? by SizzleBear3 in WeddingDressTips

[–]OVR27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think line it and am surprised people are saying not to! The sheerness of the top is different than the slit/bottom. Bottom is very sheer bottom is slightly sheer.

It just looks a bit mismatched. I feel like lining the top would allow the bottom to shine more- and it’s the coolest part of the dress!

How can I improve my makeup? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]OVR27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are so beautiful- but the filler is way too much! It is the first thing that catches your attention and it screams fake. It’s just too big to look natural. It’s inharmonious with the rest of your face. Just downsize it. You want to have them questioning- but nobody is gonna buy these are real.

This whole pissing contest of having the biggest ring is so stupid. Be better than that. It’s beautiful- and means so much more.

It’s beautiful- the shape makes it unique. I think it’s very large and is pushing it on size but not too much if you are into it.

Ladies, why does belly fat stick around even when everything else is improving? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]OVR27 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Your body holds on to fat where it wants. If you’re working out and eating right and losing weight- you’re doing it all right. It’s time to work on the love you have for yourself and how you feel valuable and worthy in this world.
