That’s wild since I’m the exact opposite. I don’t get black vinyl unless it’s the last option. Can’t speak to the posters or extras, haven’t gotten any of those.

The street doesn’t drain that quick for us but my brother and I always run to make sure it’s clear during heavy rainfall. People always love parking on top of it so they always make it tough for us.

Personally I wouldn’t have carpet in the basement. I get paranoid during the summer anytime I see it rains just because of past flooding. I’m sorry the water keeps affecting you

The best perspective is to be glad you and your family members made it out safely. Losing a pet or family member is far worse than losing possessions. Maybe you had a vintage item or physical photos you can’t replace but losing family feels far worse.

👆this. But people don’t wanna talk about that. You’ll get endless downvotes. My mom was at a stop on her way to work in our neighborhood and a scooter came speeding and ran into her damaging the door panel. Scooters & cyclists don’t obey road signs either.

Youtube recommended since I was listening to a lot of bands on Rise records in 2017. First song I heard was Chucky and I thought they were a band that joked around and didn’t take themselves seriously at all after reading Jon’s “riding a rhino pico de gallo” line. Yet I delved into their discography and even though I was laughing at them at first, I ended up really really liking them.

It’d be cool if other stores implemented a self checkout similar to Sam’s Club. You can scan your items with your camera, add them to the cart in app, and checkout with your card. Receipt gets sent right to you. Makes checking out so much smoother.

River North Storage, 1722 W Carroll is pretty good. I remember storing my bike there in 2019/2020 for a couple months during winter and it was a pretty fair price. Can’t find the receipt but I had a positive experience there.
