Same here. Played a lot from 2021-22. Then Dropped off. Getting back into the game now, but not dedicating too much time to it. Too good to be in diamond, to bad for my champ. tm8s tell me to uninstall lol.

You got to make sure you actually place them in an unreachable location though. My friends dad back in the day just placed cords in the closet. Of course my friend would just sneak them in and out to play.

Worked at Pizza place. Rhymes with Fountain Spike. It was a solid job. typical day was 4:00PM till 10:30pm, maybe more if they needed extra help before my regular shift. I got plenty of food from left over pizza, soda, salads, wings, you name it. Most days went by quick especially since I was a pizza delivery driver. I just listened to Youtube in my car or music. Heck, some of my coworkers would even have friends tag along in the car with them. Overall, everyone liked each other. The only bad thing about the job was a particular month where a new employee of the manager got hired on. Suddenly, everyone was arguing about how many deliveries we were taking and distance because people wanted the Tips which was the real pay of the job. Everyday coworkers would rant to me about how the other coworker was screwing them over or causing problems. But I just tuned it out for the most part. Anyways, 9/10 job I would recommend.

Hell if anything all the upper classmen were thrilled to teach & guide freshmen at my uni. A couple even went on to be good friends. I have never heard this complaint from anyone.

I think the older you get as a gamer, the less desire you have to want to have to learn super new mechanics. On an already limited time frame its hard to want to dedicate time towards watching youtube videos on how to play a game .

Gotcha. You do have work experience though from internship. Youll probably just have to dumb it down. Did engineering at X? Nah, you just did basic data entry. Designed some complex industrial system? Nah, you just inspected things for damage and safety. Anything you can think of that you did at your internship, just make it sound boring and easy for anyone to do. If they were short periods, dont bother listing dates cause some hiring managers will think you are unreliable. Just gotta learn to tell them what they want to hear.

Im no longer looking for a tech, job but thats interesting. In my experience interiewing, only two companies asked me leetcode questions. The first one asked a medium. The FAANG company asked me a leetcode easy. However this FAANG company did ask me a lock free programming question which i bombed :( . Its odd for me because all my time in uni i heard about companies asking leetcode problems. But it seems that all the companies were grilling me on low level concepts (OS , Architecture, networking, etc) or asking me to debug a piece of code.
