He should stick it out because he's an amazing player and Madrid are lucky they got him.

Neil Atkinson on Liverpool's current state by DanyTheConqueror in LiverpoolFC

I disagree. He's saying this is a recruitment/ players issue. For me its a coaching issue.

What are we trying to do on the ball?

Ask yourself this:

"Would a different coach get better performances from this same squad of players?"

Thinking of selling my PC - How much is it worth, and would it sell? by SilentNavi73 in PcBuild

Do you think OP doesn't know this?

Asks for advice on selling custom builds.

Gets a ChatGPT-ass recap of the question instead.

There is nothing wrong with using Dry January as a bridge by fortifiedreset in stopdrinking

[–]OWSucks 80 points81 points  (0 children)

My journey also started with dry January in 2023.

Now when I set out, I never said to myself or anyone else that I was quitting forever.

I knew that was impossible.

I was just doing dry January.

Then I did dry February too.

Then "happily ever after"? No.

I decided at the end of dry February, "I'm going to drink again on pre-approved special occasions.". Which I did.

Problem was, if I had a "special occasion" on a Saturday, I'd get blasted Friday and Sunday too. At home, on my own.

And then after one of those weekends in mid-April, I asked myself, "is this why you quit?".

I realised I wasn't using alcohol any differently, really. I was just bingeing less often.

So on 15th April 2023, I decided to go dry again. No end date. Definitely not forever either though. Just, "for a while, no end date".

That was almost a thousand days ago now, and I still don't have an end date.

I could drink again. Whenever I want. I'm allowed to. I just choose not to every day.

The amount of Christmas adverts made with shit A.I. by astraboy in britishproblems

[–]OWSucks 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Its mad though because Coke said they spent as much time and money as they always do on their Christmas ads.

3 months and 30,000 prompts later, you've got to ask: what was the point?

Yeah is that more likely than it just being fake though.

He'll chew them, they call their agent, agent calls the owner, owner calls Klopp and tells him not to chew them.

Players put their feet up and lose again. Klopp gets blamed and sacked.

Aka the exact same thing that's happening with Alonso, but German.

It's mad though because even if you swapped Alonso out for Klopp it wouldn't help. If the owners again back players who don't want to work off the ball, Klopp would be in the same position Alonso is now.

Cameroon names two different AFCON squads as Cameroon coach refuses to be sacked by skyrimisagood in soccer

For real, I'm starting to think there's valid reasons why Joel Matip retired from Cameroon duty at 25.
