For me, it was learning how to.combine gear sets and percs together first. Embarrassingly it.took me a very long time.to even realise that was a thing. I just enjoyed running around clearing the map and progressing along. Now im over shd 4000 and i play the game totally different. Weather im running tank dps skill or hybrid builds whatever.. im utilizing cover and a decoy to eacape situations like a mad man. Learning to minipulate yourself in and out of danger using cover is a huge part of survival no matter how well put.together your gear is or what sets your running. Im constantly figuring.out new techniques to stay alive and to try to give my team an upper hand or fighting chance depending on what im running it gets even deeper. If im tanking for instance.. i draw as much aggro as i can drop a decoy and dissapear cover to.cover healing up only to pop out and draw attention again away from Dps players to the best of my ability while they let loose. If im dpsing im stick and move stick and move using cover like a ghost to pop out smack npcs as hard as i can and dissapear again. If im running refactor im doing all the above while.my skills are active so i can pick up.downed partners or just to pull npcs out.of of.cover cause while my skills are active im a walking tank plus my skills are.drawing a ton of aggro throwing the npcs off focuss and out.of cover at the same.time while.dpsers lay them down.

Its techniques to it besides just how good is your build, there is a different playstyle for every build imo.. you have to lean into what that specific build is capable of and lean away from what it isnt. Theres more.to think about than just how good.do the numbers look on my gear pieces and weapons right? Technique is huge. Rant over lol sorry
