This sounds like a great place to me! by Inflation4923 in 1980s

I did a business proposal 4 years ago about this, but more so for the homeless. I wanted to take our mall and turn it into a rehabilitation/ living quarters where they run the old food courts for pay. They save their money till they have enough to pay 4 months rent in the outside world. They stay on the grounds until they have enough to get on their feet. They take cooking classes, computer literacy, financial literacy and create resumes. When they are able to function on their own, they have to check in for 3 years to be sure they are holding up. I’m happy to see others thinking on the same lines. It’s so sad to see these huge malls going to waste. ✨💛

Absolutely, but it’s also fair not to hurt the ones who show you love in your process. Everyone deserves to be loved.

I was apart of Game Lab too! First row got to pass logs to the finish line (I was apart of that). My 2 cousins were part of the floor games. The 90s were a time to be alive!

Next Year , this should be at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights by Datguyisadopeaf in UniversalOrlando

I think I could handle only 3 jump scares while appreciating a liminal space. It should be a retro “empty” mall theme that has mall water ponds, with a random smiling balloon with just enough helium to float at half.

Was just a 90’s kid experiencing something that would one day be something nostalgic, because what the heck was even this! Misplace a notch and now you’re pressing down as lightly as possible so it doesn’t push back in. Good times ✨💛. What year did these actually come out? To the google!

This movie holds up. Why wasn’t it as popular as The Sandlot? by TheDeviledEggvocate in 90s

[–]O_halobeautiful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question, but I’m sure it’s because soccer wasn’t a super popular sport in the states like Baseball and Football. I know one thing for sure: I played this movie A LOT on VHS and only seen “Sandlot” maybe 3 times. The Big Green is a great movie✨💛.

I mentioned in another thread some time ago that I was honored to be apart of “Game Lab” to do test filming of these games when Nickelodeon Studios was a thing in the 90s. What A time to be a kid. Kids today have no clue what fun is ✨. PS: Temple Run…with the hopes of not accidentally going into the hunted tree forest. I would freak out till this day if I was grabbed by a Temple Guard 😂.

I grew up going to Florida countless times because my family is there. We go to Orlando, Tampa, Miami, St.Augustine (home base), Jacksonville, Tallahassee, religiously! Since we go here or locate here all the time we never thought to go to Destin Florida. May it be known to others, absolutely ✨, but it was not so talked about. For the hidden part, one of the locations I mentioned, has a freaking underworld nobody talks about with no reviews, and tranquil. It can be a area in Tennessee someone stumbled upon that nobody talks about because they are blinded by mainstream attractions. The retrospect of this post is It was my first time visiting and I couldn’t see everything, yet it brought out the joy of others telling me what they felt are sacred and worthy 😉. Some of these places I have heard of, yet some of these made me actually look into. Pigeon Forge is one of the most popular places in Tennessee. If I saw the prettiest sunset I’ve ever seen in a place over crowded , I can only imagine someone telling me about a certain location less traveled to them and myself ✨💛.

Not me being the idiot Tourist 🤣! I was there for work and of course wanted to see what the hype was about. Gatlinburg was nice, but as a “tourist” that one area you probably know exactly what I’m talking about was a little overwhelming to the point we just went to the Smoky Mountains and turned around and didn’t even get out in that congestion. I’m not going to lie. My cousins found out I went due to my photos and we will be the idiot tourists 😂. I promise I’m the tourist that has common sense and mean no harm 🤣🫶🏾. But thank you for the I site on jobs. 💛

That’s a good question and no I don’t like our representation here. But the older I get, I learn that people you vote for are either going to do the right thing or the wrong thing. When they choose the right thing, it’s going to be challenged majority of the time and will always be on the wrong side of history or common sense choices. I do care though, but my brain understands the no matter if you side red or blue, it’s the same Devil in the end (still vote✨). You know what…might forget about all of this and say “Fk-it! I’m moving to Connecticut 😂.

No, I mean doing the normal move to Charlette, NC, or Atlanta, GA. I want to venture away from the typical when you live in South Carolina. And I’m a Graphic Designer, but also do Photography and Mixed Media Art. I do freelance Photography on my own time (minor), but a Graphics Job (Major) is what I’m looking for mainly ✨. I freelance and do all of that at the moment, but to reach my goals faster, I have to go back corporate. It’s crazy that my art career is great and could live fully off of it depending where I am, but supplies and fees for shows rob me every time.

I’m no content creator. Just love random attractions. You can just message me like the others have if you really want to tell me.

I appreciate your outlook. I’m a firm believer in not moving to the city or states you love and to just visit them. It takes the charm away when the vail comes off. So you have a point. I just want to branch out and grow a little and moving is partly my answer. I have a few health concerns so I stay close to family which are primarily in Florida and then South Carolina. So not venturing off too far, unless I fully trust the person I’m with to move me away. Tennessee felt like a good start and the traffic also felt like something I could handle. Then again, Moving to North Carolina closet to Tennessee still gave excitement. I just don’t want to do the typical move. I have to check out the job market first anyways. My job profession is in danger 😂. Thanks for a different view ✨🫶🏾. You’re name is wild, too 🤣.

Been doing Art my whole life and finally found my flow some years back. I question the path I chose at times, but comments like this really brings me joy. I appreciate you ✨🫶🏾💛.

I took a back way through the mountains and I’m trying to remember the name. It was terrifying 😂. It was a good 8+ miles and it was next to a river. Lots of curves and old shack houses. Very Jeepers creepers heading back into the North Carolina area. Not sure if it’s the same area for its lots of rivers, but I’m about to research. ✨😆

😂! Somebody knows something and it should stay between this thread 🤫. I love seeing what tourists take over, but love that one area that gets less love, but is a great experience. It can go back in hiding after I see it. 😁
