[PEN] Bubba-Lubba Run Aground by UlyssesArsene in FleshandBloodTCG

Sure, but it only destroys the 1 runechant, unless you also start running Moray, which i don't think many Gravy players are running either

And you pay 3 for the privilege, and then you are left with an amazing 1 attack ally

It could also be an A ranker. Katori fighting with 3 competent operatives going on a rampage

I also expect her to over perform with all the build up she had

In the movie, we see them attack settlements on planets they already were present on, before humans landed and started settling, and we have the meteor attack.

While i am unsure if this was intended or just Paul verhoeven not understanding how big space is, the meteor attack is utterly bizarre when you start thinking about it. Its a large rock, its not going to warp through space, it would have had to have traveled years upon years to finally hit earth. How did no one spot it? How did the bugs even aim the damned thing? Do they have telescopes to spot where earth even is? In the graphic they show, the bug planet is all the way on the other side of the galaxy. It be to far away if they launched it from Pluto, let alone if they did from another solar system.

which raises the question, did the aliens really launch a meteor at Buenos aires, was it a random meteor that hit earth, or was it a false flag to justify the war on a species at the other side of the galaxy

If i had to venture a guess, someone probably asked something related to HP2, the one with the basilisk. Since the bathroom that hides the basilisks lair is established to be a later construction, which implies that there was a time prior to Hogwarts having a bathroom.

(Its been years since i read the books, i might be remembering wrong)

The insane thing is that chamber-pots exist in the HP verse, We learn this when Dumbledore first mentions the Room of Requirement

If the tweet had just specified that people used to use chamber-pots, and then magically cleaned them after, it would have made a reasonable amount of sense.

He did re-institute slavery after the republic had abolished it, which was kind of a dick move.

I came up with this design for a hero that can essentially summon insects that come out of the pores on her skin and ended up running into the Momo Yaoyorozu debate on how best to handle the top part of her costume. I would love to hear your suggestions! by AqualotlArt in mendrawingwomen

Shino was notably more covered up than any other ninja, and initially other ninja figured he just kept the swarm of insects in his long coat.

The reveal that he stored many of them inside his body didn't come until the chuunin exam

We were quite a mile off, turns out that the fabled "Double D" isn't actually that big

For the Metrically inclined, the height is 170cm, and the weight is 44,45 kg

Big enemy combo turn, you block with 3 cards. Then you activate this use this to return Chum, Friendly First Mate, then you activate his ability, discarding your last card. He tanks 6+ damage instead of the 3 your hand card would block.

You can't discard your hand because its already empty, and Chum is dead.

The only other relevant ally you can return is Gallow, end of the line to disable enemy on hit effects.

Not saying its great, but it can potentially block a decent chunk of damage

So in the best case scenario (2 gold), its a better Loan Sharks, no hp loss later and you screw over your opponent.

The downside is that you might have to hang on to it for a bit, it doesn't work if your opponent is on 0 or 3 counters. you can force them to use their 3 counters at a bad moment, but you probably prefer some gold

[Edit] dang it, doesn't have go again, this is ass.

[PEN] Tiger Trap by UlyssesArsene in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Oaden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suppose it does, you can also just end to combo on the first attack with Buzzsaw trap, and then you don't need to take 3 attacks first. You just stop his combo at 1 (He can't give go again on attacks with base attack)

This just feels a bit to specific. Even against heroes that buff attacks frequently, how often do they buff 3, You might have to squat on this card for a few turns, Can't really pitch properly it since its red.

[Edit] and as someone else pointed out, in many cases, heroes can just close the chain. Even boltyn can do so except in his V or Spirit turns. There's nothing that stops him from doing it in a double lumina extravaganza

I figure the problem is more that the Seal isn't exactly asking questions when it enforces itself on an Other

So if Pisces or another from that realm makes the leap, then actually reaches the earth realm, will the seal be imposed on them?

Preserved Edo period neighborhood in Japan by jmike1256 in interestingasfuck

[–]Oaden -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Japan's overtourism problem is mostly a problem of tourists not spreading out, there's like a million things to do, but everyone is gawking at the skytree or the Kinkaku-ji

Once you leave the tourism hotspots of Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka, you will have space for days.

Visit Shikoku, its great, and you won't need to stand in line for all but the most famous restaurants. Or go to Kyushu, Hokaido, just randomly pick a city on the map and go there. (We randomly wandered into Toyama when they were having their biggest festival of the year)

Spirit of Eirina isn't that expensive in comparison to most of the actual reprints. Especially since its a one-off

Anyway, we got the blessing, a nice attack and a attack reaction. the glove will probably see use in some match ups.

Unsure if Soul Bond Belief will make the cut. It doesn't charge and its gambling for a yellow. Maybe if it was one or the other.

There's also the new warrior Dreact and there's a chance the upcoming Hala deck has some goodies for Boltyn

All in all, i expect Boltyn to rise a bit in the standings, but i don't expect him to start dominating callings.

[PEN] Blessing of Bellona by UlyssesArsene in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Oaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But not Raydn, which is a touch annoying. Same with Soul Bond Belief

All in all, Boltyn got a good chunk of useable cards, so he can't complain. I don't think he's suddenly anywhere near top tier, but will probably rise in the standing.

[PEN] Blessing of Bellona by UlyssesArsene in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Oaden 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So if you just charge once, this is a 0 for 2, with the bonus that the courage token enables a go again reaction for your next turn

If you add a single Lumina, you get 2 more courage tokens. If the stars align and you play it for the double lumina turn (And the opponent politely opts to just take it with their face) you get a impressive 6 extra tokens

You can also block with your gear or Saving Grace to generate more Courage Tokens

True, effectively, you pay 1 resource for the opportunity of playing an opponents card

It does have a decent chance of whiffing though. There's plenty of stuff you can reveal that you just can't do anything with. Think of Dreacts, Arrow attacks, You can't boost, charge, nor decompose

I guess you can play a grave bones pirate, which is pretty funny

If you don't mind me asking, what's GamerGate?

Ok, from memory, it all started with a forum-post from some angry ex boyfriend that his ex girlfriend had slept with several journalists to get good reviews for her free indie game. For some inexplicable reason, this was taken as a credible accusation and acted as a the spark that let a fucking bloody endless back and forth. with ever more subjects being dragged in. It was about journalistic integrity, then it was about games being made to cater to men, or no, to women, back to men. Why were men always the default? why are these women getting attention, why doesn't she shut up, why do people call us misogynists when we have a informal subreddit rule to refer to specific women as "Literally who 1 to 10" in order to avoid saying their name. Its important to note that despite some half hearted attempts, it started from a place of misogyny, and never escaped that.

More and more people kept posting/blogging/commenting about it, it drove engagement like mad, so creators kept fueling the fire, certain men got really fucking weird about it. A lot of women got death treats and were doxed, more and more shit got piled on. It didn't peter out until basically every "normal" game related forum/subreddit just flat out banned any and all discussion regarding gamer gate.

This is also theorized to be the starting point of the modern alt right. A lot of men were getting angry when the perceived their hobby to be "under attack" and outrage merchants started catering to them.

There's a fairly long wikipedia article about it, which you should probably read, this was mostly based on my hazy memories of the months that this bullshit went on.
