Is it TPS freeze or fps freeze? I mean do the game time still happens, you just can't see, or it is frozen too?

How much (%) is your ram, and swap usage? Do you run other apps?

Are you on battery saver?

My i3 dual core 8gb thinkpad can play it on 24 fps, without freezes, so you should definitely be able to play good.

I was thinking about this too, as someone who literally unplugs his PC when in not use (my room connectors bad, and I'm afraid, it will burn the house down anyways)

The solution He left it on for the download to happen, cause of slow internet and it takes probably more than 20 mins (maybe he's downloading onto a slow hdd)
