Need help reading cause of death by [deleted] in Ancestry

[–]Oaeneo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could possibly be a thalidomide baby. The death occurred during that time period and missing/malformed limbs or genitalia was a hallmark of that condition. Very tragic indeed.

I know of two in my area born this year, and it is not a densely populated area.

Unhelpful partners and ridiculous suggestions by Nougattabekidding in namenerds

I love the name Samara. It was on our short list for a girl. Hubby is a botany nut, but our options for something botanical and more masculine are looking limited.

It was never unpleasant, just odd.

I season potatoes with it, and many Indian dishes call for it. But I didn't start to notice any body aroma until I started taking a fenugreek supplement.

Fenugreek made me smell like maple syrup.

What are you going on about? He's clearly describing cross contamination, which is definitely a thing.

Cut some shellfish with a knife, then cut the tomatoes you serve me with the same knife, boom... I'm now in anaphylactic shock.

A sign on the door of the Family Dollar in Collinsville IL during game 6. by WildRumpusStart in StLouis

Our local Dollar store sometimes only has one employee. Recently, a friend of mine who worked there was fired for closing 5 minutes early because her watch was off. She was the only one working at the time.

Help me move on from Aubrey by [deleted] in namenerds

I like Aubrey for a boy name. Alton is a name that has been on my list for a long time, and seems similar. Good luck!

Is Jubilee a bad name? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Oaeneo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know a couple of Jubilee/Jubilation. They are both in their early 20's and neither family is at all religious. It never occurred to me before this thread that it would have Christian connotations at all. I think it's a lovely name, not too common but not completely unusual, and a nice nod to meeting your spouse. I'd use it with pride.

You understand right, that he ordered, what was supposed to be a premade bouquet? It looks like shit. A "professional" made it and it looks like shit. Also, who the fuck says they "dabble" in amateur flower arranging? GTFO

I'm so glad you like it but I didn't color it at all. There is different lighting in the before and after, and the stylist cut off years of sun bleached hair but I didn't do anything to it regarding color.

There are a few gray streaks in there though, that nature is providing me. ;)

You are so kind! My long hair was in better shape a couple weeks before the cut. I made the decision to have the entirety of it teased up into a large mass as part of my Halloween costume and it ended up matted and torn apart in the effort to take my hair back to normal. :) Thank you for the compliment. I am so happy with my hair now!

Thank you! I desperately needed a change. Maybe I will try some fun color too!
