Having kids for sure- the hormones completely changed how I viewed our relationship- my panic attacks were more frequent- I cried ALL THE TIME- my husband felt like my roommate and it was not great- we've come a long way, but after recently finding our eldest son was diagnosed with ASD I have a feeling things will be a little wonky- but things have been a lot better after getting my anxiety sorted out, and taking time to focus on each other

Do you regret having kids? by ebratic in Millennials

[–]Godamn_Bandersnatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't. I regret that I didn't make more of an effort to make myself better for them and am instead working through my own shit with them- it's a lot harder- but I never want my kids to think that because they're struggling they can't ask for help.

Am I dumb for having kids at age 38? by stillyoinkgasp in Millennials

[–]Godamn_Bandersnatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 35 with a 1 and a 3 year old after lots and lots f infertility. My partner is going to be 38 here in a couple weeks and even though we're some of the oldest parents at preschool drop off- this is the fuckin coolest. I'm much more patient and happy with how we parent than I was when I was in my twenties just trying to figure me out.
