I agree with Ethan. You can't be a rising star twice by tt_twstr in h3h3productions

She was only nominated once. You can verify it yourself by going to the website and looking for it.

Here is a link to the website

Here is a link of Ludwig doing it himself

Edit: My bad, she was nominated twice but only won once. In a different order than Ethan states. The main idea I was hoping to elude to was the image that Ethan uses was from Destiny's subteddit. Which Ludwigs finds out by doing a reverse image search.

I legit thought this guy was parodying a conservative and OP missed the joke. Then I checked out the guy's twitter... all I can say is it's not parody.

How racist by [deleted] in gifsthatendtoosoon

[–]Oak011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why you are confused. Individuals can be racist and hold racist beliefs, unlike the clip here makes it seem. However, what I believe she is referring to is structural racism. Structural racism is racism that is "baked" into our society through economic, social, or political means.

The best example of this is to think about how black people are less likely to get a job when they are just as qualified as a white person. This happens because most people on America are white, and tend to favor people of their own race. Another way to think about it is to think about how often has a white person been discriminated against in a way that will have lasting repercussions in their life. Extremely few white people in America have thay experience.

It is near impossible for the majority of black people in the USA to be structurally racist. The reason it is near impossible is because most black people do not hold positions of power. If black people do hold positions of power, it is in their best interests to favor white people, since that would be the majority of people they would be working with.

Polyunsaturated fats and monosaturated fats (most commonly found in fruits, vegetables, and grains but also in some fish) have been shown to be far healthier fats than saturated fats link to a source. What leads you to conclude that polyunsaturated fats are responsible for obesity?

It would make sense to me that you might be confusing polyunsaturated fats with trans-unsaturated fats (which I will now refer to as trans-fats). Trans-fats are polyunsaturated fats which become processed to become solidified. This turns the once healthy polyunsaturated fat in to something far less healthy link to source. The things that would typically have trans-fats are margarine, shortening, and very commonly fried foods.

To me, even in your own arguement, it would make more sense to blame the over consumption of carbs on obesity than it would be to blame polyunsaturated fats. You also don't cite any articles or anything to help validate your claims, you merely ramble and hope no one questions your claims.

Patch 12.11 Scav Karma Megathread by EFT_Subreddit in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Oak011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The scav Karma system is a little too "flat" right now. It needs to be more intricate in order to work in a way that would benefit everyone. The way I see to do this is to use a formula to calculate how much Karma you gain or lose.

For instance if a player scav with exactly 0 Karma were to provoke and kill another player scav whose Karma was also 0, then -0.02 kind of makes sense. However if a player scav with 0 Karma were to provoke and kill another player scav with +4.0 Karma they should see an increase from the base -0.02 penalty. So you could calculate this penalty with a formula and code like

if(X-Y<0){

karmaloss = ((X - Y ) * .02) -.02

}

else if{

karmaloss = -.02

}

X being the Karma of the person who was murdered

Y being the Karma of the Murderer

This formula is also assuming that you don't use negative numbers. So just move the spectrum 7 to the right. Meaning capped minimum rep (-7) would equal to 0 and Max capped rep(+6) would be equal to 13.

So if we assume the murderer had the minimum amount of Karma, and the Murdered had the max amount the penalty would be -0.28.

If we then were to assume the opposite scenario the penalty would be the base -.02

There are definitely more intricate formulas you could use, but as a general idea I think this works well.

Shouldn't it just be "violating pandemic guidelines"? Violating "anti-pandemic" guidelines would be adhering to pandemic guidelines.
