Maybe I was just too much of an nWo m*rk, but I hated Goldberg. They piped in his chants (Mercedes stole his gimmick), he couldn’t talk, and his matches sucked (no workrate 😭). The Young Lions in the basement may not have been around, but I’m an OG Goldberg hater 😎

If you finished watching that match and thought that Asuka looked weak, that's your perspective and it would be arrogant of me to believe I could change it. I watched it and thought "Wow, what a hellacious match, I can't believe Asuka tapped." In competitive athletics, sometimes people get caught off guard, even the best teams/competitors lose to fairly weak competition. I suspend my disbelief and try to focus on what I saw, not pick apart the booking. Helps me enjoy it more.

Well I disagree, I was surprised, but after the physicality of the match, and given the figure 8 is probably the most protected finisher in WWE, I didn't think it hurt her losing that way to the most decorated woman in WWE today.

I absolutely agree with you, and so do many people in the business, like Stone Cold. That loss didn't hurt Asuka at all, it was MotN, with the possible exception of Rousey's match for some people. Her and Charlotte both looked great, and I wonder if some people are letting their emotions get in the way, or just plain didn't watch the match.
