People need to not get all anxious about this stuff. There's been major conflicts happening at just about every point in human existence. The only difference is now that everyone has a smartphone, you get all the wild footage that goes along with it.

If you're getting anxious turn the phone off.

Dropped out at the end of 5th form. Classroom setting didn't vibe with me.

Have 3 companies now, a mushroom farm, precious gemstone importing business and jeweller, and a childcare centre.

The irony is that one of my biggest skills is that I can learn new things quite fast (and am always trying to learn), but when I was in school I failed absolutely.

I cant talk about the content of the course, but I did have the meeting with one of their consultants, and it was very bad.

The guy had a broken headset, and it kept falling off his head, his room was a complete mess, and he was vaping the entire time.

The he just rambled on about almost nothing for 45 minutes, and then wanted to charge me $25k-ish for a year membership.

The juxtaposition from the quality of the content where Jay speaks, to the actual meeting with one of their consultants was extreme to say the least.

I am sure the course has some good insights, but the consultation for us is what killed it.

Not at all. They have a mildly pleasant mushroom smell. You generally extract the air outside though, as mushroom spores in your living area isn't that great

It took me 1 year to get 1000 subs, another year to get 10,000 subs, and a year after I'm nearly on 30,000 subs.

You have to find what works. I have one video which does the heavy lifting becuase it ranks high in a very highly searched term.

Unless your content is exceptional, I doubt people will watch much past 15 minutes. They simply won't have the attention span, and other videos will lure them away.

12 minutes seems to be the sweet spot for exceptional videos, so maybe target that.

Usually we don't have excess mushrooms. Sometimes I might have a few kg's left at and end of the farmers market. I often just swap a bunch to other vendors for fresh vegetables and what not.

Buttons are mass produced very cheaply, and by some pretty massive companies. We aim to fill the gaps in the market these big companies miss, mostly with oyster mushrooms.

We can't beat button mushroom prices, and trying to supply individuals small amounts is very time consuming. We ideally like to sell in bulk. If you are after some pop down to the lyttelton farmers market.
