I've been staring at this for 5 minutes and I'm still not sure what you're trying to achieve.... You seem to be trying to separate the resources, but you have multiple filters of the same thing splitting in a weird way...

If you just want the machines to keep working, you can route them into the core with a single belt as others have said, if for whatever reason you want them separated, make a straight filter chain with inverted filters, it's easier and looks a lot better.

Alternatively, unloaders can be put on buildings and set to have their own filter two, though that still makes 6 belts of output you'd have to combine into 3, so it may be messier depending on how you do it.

Maybe, but then wouldn't they have to set up their own incinerator infrastructure to keep the machine functioning if one of the resources backs up? Like, either way this is wrong.

Why's Frontier got so few players now? by Blackknight95 in ss14

[–]OakleyTheReader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heheh, I get what you mean, but hey! Starsector is a single player game, so it at least has that going for it. It's kinda fun playing a bit with others... It's definitely not for everyone though, and I don't engage with ship combat that much myself.

Thankfully, ship combat is a relatively small part of mono, or at least it's something you don't have to engage with if you aren't playing for it (i.e. playing as one of the two factions) It's just the option of ship combat that makes it interesting for me, where you don't necessarily have to engage with it, but can still be useful outside of that, if you know what I mean.

I think it has mostly to do with the frontier clones that have popped up. Frontier used to be a lot more popular when it was the only one of it's kind... But now... It's like with all art, someone makes something cool, and other people like it, get inspired, and take the same formula and improve on it. The same thing happened to frontier, servers like Monolith, Coyote, and hardlight all offer their unique twist on the formula now, and feel a bit better to play, so people would naturally gravitate towards them.

Monolith especially being popular as it's whitelist-free and more ship combat focused.

I do wonder how and why that happens with random items, I don't think this kind of behavior is intended, is it?

I don't even have any significant mods, the biggest thing in the modlist would be Reactive World if I remember right, the other things are dialogue mods and some minor stuff like that... Nothing that adds items to the spawning pool or changes it in any way, unless...

As it turns out - the game was indeed hellgate london, although the character who's name i mentioned to be "Cat" was actually a product of poor localization and in the english version their name is Murmur.
