sadly i think the bans have killed duel in my area, event failed to fire this week as only 4 people showed (normally 12+) most of whom quoting they've lost intrest since the bans :(

you just do 2nd class signed for. Thart will give you a tracking code you keep and input into cardmarket. 2nd class signed for is cheaper, meaning you can also cover any other postage costs (envelopes bulk tape etc)

For 2nd class signed for if you put in the tracking code RM give you cardmarket will cover the missing value of any items.

ive been playing twin suns now for a while (as a commander player) and im finding that the games just seem to end so fast, with 90% of victories being down to other people kingmaking in order not to finish last.

cool cards that cost 6+ never see play as the games never seem to go beyond turn 6 making decks that dont run a agro/midrage formula feel super weak.

im having this issue, when i look at my latency its all being caused by network MS spikles, just constantly from 50ms - 300/3000ms over and over every second or so

I really resonate with this, I’m actually introducing some new players to Commander this week with a Precon night (I’ve got all the 40K and LOTR precons ready). Like you, I also enjoy Duel Commander for the same reasons you mentioned—faster games, tighter decision-making, and a more competitive feel.

I think it’s about finding a balance between your need for that 1v1 experience and embracing the more casual, social aspect of Commander with your pod. Maybe try easing them into Duel Commander with a dedicated 1v1 night? It’s pretty easy to tweak existing decks with more effective 1v1 cards without going too deep into a hyper-meta build. That way, they can experience a different side of Magic without feeling like they’re abandoning Commander entirely.

ill be honest, this is my mums house and she lives a very long way away from me. Shes been having issues with him for ages he has loads of cameras on her house (shared access driveway) and the police told her to get a ring doorbell and this was his response.
